There was another horse? hmmm. I've watched this so many times, and i never see anything but Charlotte and Valegro! lol

This routine was very helpful to know how much work and dedication it takes to have a top performance horse. The diversity in the training I believe keeps the horse fresh and happy. I also believe the time to recover from travel and competition is very important. Thank you for sharing.

Yes! I also certainly do love it how they give him a huge break out on the fields to recover and relax! I reckon that's what everybody should be doing with their horses after a big event or something. Its good to have your horse recovering in the best way, and letting them out in the fields is a great example!!

I met him yesterday, he is the most stunning horse I have ever seen!

Yep. Companionship, entertainment, ect, for everyone. Gotta have other animals around. I once knew a very expensive and occasionally fractious Arab stallion who shared a stall with hens and a cat, ran the pasture fence line with three guard dogs and talked to a herd of donkeys on an opposite hillside pasture.

Wow she puts so much trust into him and he puts so much trust into her. It's amazing

So glad he gets time to just be a horse, soooooo important. Paddock time ( field time) and hacking out not just the arena, happy horse, happy ride.

What a sweetheart Charlotte is…multitasking like a Mum to Valegro ~ keeping him content but just enough to keep the camera rolling. A match made in heaven.

Most beautiful horse ever! He is such a pretty and gentle guy. I wish I could meet him...

It's really cool to see Valegro out of the dressage arena.

Good for her! glad someone cares about the wellbeing of their horse, so many people overworking and straining their horses out there..

awww he gets a holiday yas slay me (ok its 2am excuse my weirdness). horses go through a lot of stress at shows, being away and in a strange place with loud noises and weird surroundings, also ive ridden in the back of a trailer (where the horses stand) and its HORRIBLE. but im glad he gets time off in the field for that long, hopefully with his buddies. Horses are happiest with herds, after all

I'd love to see velegro showjumping. I know he's a top dressage horse but he shows so much elevation that I think he could be pretty scopey!

Wow, He gets royal treatment, Love the way you care for him he's very beautiful, Is he Warmblood? I have a three year old Thoroughbred who does Dressage but I haven't done Competition. Valegro is so beautiful I wish you both many happy years together

I'm german and Hanoverians are mostly dressage horses^^ "Desperados" (performing at the dressage olympics with his rider Kristina Bröring Sprehe) is hanoverian. But there are also good jumpers of course.

No. The horses seen in flat races are thoroughbreds. The horses with a cart are standardbreds

Anyone watching this please do not try this with a horse and a treat. This is a very good way to end up with a crippled hand. One of the first things you are taught when giving a treat is to never do basically everything she IS doing. Not saying he isn't a good horse and she can't have trust in him, but this is just very unwise.

Give him whatever youre holding already damn.
