When the mushroom effect is wearing off your player should flash 3 times to notify the person playing.

You should add a timer on screen for the mushroom effects, kinda like minecraft just so new players know that it's not permanent

That is genuinely what I want to do when I grow up.

There are some parts of that sandwich we are just not meant to see.

Dani's teacher: "recreate this game in java using libgdx" Dani:"have you heard of unity's particle sistem?"

past dani:concentrate on school, acts like a grown man now dani:haha bean go brrrrrrrrr

Also for the dialogue system, you could create a bunch of different dialogue classes for different character types, each containing a switch statement with different lines of text. Use a random number generator to pick statements at random from the relevant character dialogue class!

add a gliding sort of enemy, like vampire bats which will sometimes spawn in the cave, or add a cursed weapon which will have a negative effect, but normal stats of the weapons (health loss, slow movement, etc.) High quality video by the way, like always!
