A Day in the Life of an Engineering Student at Purdue University
Watch me go through my usual busy day as a Purdue engineering student.
If you're new here, my name is Nimal, and I'm a first-year engineering student leaning towards Computer Engineering. I make videos about college life, ECE topics, coding, and anything my creative mind thinks of. Thank you so much for watching my first video! Feel free to comment on what else you would like to see from this channel.

Wow!, I went to Purdue two years ago and It was one of the most awesome experiences in my life. I wish to come back again soon.
Great work posting these videos. Really helpful. You should do one on laundry and pods vs strips. It’s one of the most widely discussed topic on some Purdue parent groups 😂
That’s awesome Nimal. I hope you’re doing well!

He had very full day, but very balanced. Also had a super nice approach to learn.
Wow! 2 years late but this is a fire look at how life is at Purdue
I’m majoring in Integrated business and engineering, so not sure how similar to this that will be, but awesome video!
can’t believe how fast my college career flew by, this brings me right back to those fye days... feels like it was just yesterday i was walking to my 172 (used to be a nightmare)

Did you get a scholarship and how to apply for that
Plz make another video of Perdue Day in the life plzzzzzzzz ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Nice keep up
Hey I got accepted to FYE but didn't get any scholarship which is making the choice seriously difficult...I'd really appreciate advise for financial aid options as international student like on-campus jobs or stuff. Thanks...
How does a Purdue engineering student have time to make this 😂

I love your video! How much more would you say the workload is compared to high school overall.
@simplyNimal

Definitely a lot more than high school but time management is key. If you can do that, then there’s nothing to worry about other than keeping with classes.

Thank you very much! Would you happen to know anything about the acoustical engineering program there?
@simplyNimal

I don’t know too much about it other than it’s a speciality engineering program that’s pretty diverse in disciplines. Here’s there webpage: engineering.purdue.edu/ENE/Academics/Undergrad/MDE/PlansofStudy/acoustical-engineering

Do people who take physics C and do well on the test typically still take mech and e & m at university?
@simplyNimal
3 жыл бұрын
Most people that get a 5 typically use the credit and don’t take the physics courses
Aye at 7:50 my friends are in the background
are you still at prude
This is my dream
Hey I just got admitted can you put me through the process?
After the first year, how do engineering students know they will get into one of the 17 engineering programs they want? Thanks for the real deal day in the life.
@simplyNimal

Purdue will host information sessions about the 17 engineering programs, which will inform pretty much every FYE student in the first semester. Most first year students know what engineering discipline they want to do, so the transition is seamless for them. For those that are not sure, these programs do a great job of showing the plan of study and the nature of the programs. As for getting into them, it varies. Some schools like AAE and mechanical engineering have strict GPA cutoffs whereas ECE takes anyone who applies. That being said, almost everyone I know gets into their respective major after first year.
Does purdue give a full ride scholarship? ? What sat score is required to get scholarship?

Hi, Nimal are you from India??? If yes, please make a detailed video of your journey from India to Purdue University.

Ayush Bhattacharjee I’m an instate student.
I would suggest increasing the weights there, and looking up some videos on proper lifting technique. The very fact that you work out is good on it's own, but if you want to get better then that's definitely where you should start.
Hey, great video! Can you make one about purdue dining please?
