True, but it does help to network, get your name out there and get people outside of your team to know you. Helps a lot in consulting

When my office job switched to WFH in 2020, I became so so lonely. It was call center work though, so joking around with my coworkers between calls was the only humanizing part of the job. The rest of it was absolutely soul-sucking.

How are you going about it and what experience do you have that led you to make this decision? Genuinely curious because I’ve been tossing the idea around myself. I have a couple of weeks to decide on a position at a firm near me.

Which city do you live in...? I am pursuing CPA and I was told that Denver, CO is best city with all the Big 4's and most opportunity for a public account.

As a manager, don’t you get bugged throughout the whole day on Teams from staff/seniors asking you questions? How do you dedicate multiple hours to straight review?

it is so much relaxing to just review the work and ask for corrections. Secondly, a senior manager deals with managers not a child trainee that he will be asked childish questions.

@@sherkhan8135this video is absolutely sugarcoating the position. Senior Management for an auditing firm means you have *zero* life. You’re constantly on the phone in and out of work and *never* without your laptop/phone. You’ll get tired of how every single time you unlock your phone, the first screen that you see is your email… because you’re always on it wether you like it or not.

Used to work for an audit firm Skills you will learn in school like auditor language all the accounting is basic. People skills and comprehension. You’ll see a lot of stuff that wasn’t taught in school. Or like scenarios that you need to talk to your client about that they have no idea or think they have a better idea than you. Also say goodbye to your social life during busy season.
