I figured out the teleport existed from a video of Soul Fox getting stuck outside of the map in a crimson cauldron type video. Someone said to try to stick his hand through the window and teleport.

I've actually insta karmaed some of this guys who do this thing, they do go in the ground but the heads are a little outside so you can litteraly shot him down like a potatoe, and his gun should be disabled as going trought the ground makes shot in from inside of it impossible so they are litteraly defenseless

When I first started the game the first thing I knew months ago, yeah I actually watched like millions of tutorials and things about the game before I even played it on my oculus quest 2, that teleporters are the hate spotlight, so whenever I see one i go like oh hi and of they kill me I wave at them and give them a cheer, if they fail I'll tell the they were excellent opponents and they still are.

There’s something about screen players that makes them so different from VR players I feel like it’s a ton more personal and you feel like your with real people but screen players don’t care

I have met some really awesome screen players but it seems a majority are toxic/childish. Perhaps that’s because more people have a phone or ps4 than VR headset. That may attract the younger audience simply due to their accessibility.

sensor cleaner fixes drifting controllers easily. it's very cheap too - around 10€. you might already have some.

I’ve recently started using teleport on quests and dodgeball, I use it during paintball with my friends since they aren’t too good but I feel like if I used it in a public game I wouldn’t last a sec.

Little did they know they reported Boethiah.. Also when they got hit by Boe they are just the most saltiest person in the world

This is what I experienced daily when i was playing! And there was nothing I could do about it. Thank you for doings this boe! The fact that some people don’t know teleporting is a thing is out of order and RR really needs to do something about it.

the only reason i don't teleport is because when you can walk, you can make split-second decisions

These people always confuse me. I only use teleport in dodgeball sometimes and I get berated constantly, so I couldn't imagine getting insulted all the time because of a movement mode. Some people don't understand that: 1. Teleporting was the original locomotion for Rec Room, all activities were built with teleport in mind 2. Everyone has the option and right to use teleport, it isn't cheating. Walk mode and teleport mode have their pros and cons 3. Some people have no option as walk mode makes them nauseated, and this is the only way for them to experience this beautiful game. 4. This is a V I D E O G A M E. Some people take these things too seriously. Thank you for making this video, Boe. I think it is a running problem in Rec Room and it makes the community very toxic, so hopefully this video will show that no matter what, we should all just be nice to each other!

Seeming as I have been a teleporter for over 3 years now, I’ve been called racist slurs,a cheater,noob and it’s incredible. The downside is that I’ve been banned 3 times for using a motion put in the game for people with motion sickness, rec room need to do something about these people because being banned for useing a motion in a VR game.

People hate it because people think that it requires no skill to dodge from people but don't know how long the cooldown is on teleporting. But it is op you can teleport once right behind the enemy and destroy them.

What you said at the beginning makes me think about what I wear in this game 😂, I'm level 42 and I'm sat wearing one of the default blazers and a baseball cap, the only thing I spent and credits on is the paintball belt I'm wearing

Recroom has one of the worst communities I’ve ever seen, I’m not coming back to the game and have cancelled my rr+ until the devs do something about their great game but dumpster fire of a community

I feel your pain, i’m usually a walkee but I tried that Strat before and it’s hard and people always seem to hate you. I feel bad for the people who get really bad nausea and I actually have to teleport experience these players.

I personally don’t like teleporters I just find it annoying when u shoot someone then they just tp behind u that’s one of the main reason people hate teleporters but what I do HATE is people who are cheating by putting their Body in the ground that is what I truly dislike about rr (rec room) (This is my opinion)

I use walk so this has never happened to me but I was playing a pvp game and a teleporter joined and everyone I teamed with started targeting the teleporter but I protected him

I like how it’s got bad enough that rec room put teleporting as a report option, but then just says it’s a part of the game

"Its not fair!" Well, everyone has the option to teleport. If you get the option to spawn with a rifle instead of the pistol, but you decide to spawn with a pistol, the people spawning with the rifle arent cheating. "Do you want me to turn on teleporting?" Why would a teleporter have a problem with that?

Not really. If anything teleporting is way easier because you can travel way faster and your movement is harder to predict.

I got consistent harassment from teleporting when I first started playing rec. I get motion sickness extremely easily, even moving around normally in rec for more than an hour gets me sick for the rest of the day. I switched to the normal walking, but damn is it funny to see grown adults insult you because you don’t want to get sick. ((I’m an extremely active vr user but I have yet to overcome motion sickness in the 5+ years I’ve been using vr lmfao))

one of my friend uses teleport since they’re controller drifts a lot so they would just randomly be walking into a wall so they use teleport since it’s easier and it’s hilarious seeing people get so annoyed

As person that just switched to the teleport game option, I can confirm that whenever you play for 1 millisecond you will get harassed

Rec Room should do something like “Teleportation Week” where they make all RRO games teleport only. One, this you’ll solve glitch walking (through walls) for a single week out of a whole year, and two, it would allow people to find out that teleportation is a setting. And teleporting would remain on after the week is over until you turn walk back on within settings.

If someone says to RR mods that someone is hacking and they see all that "hacker" is doing is teleport they'll ask him, did you read the rules?, if he says yes he's lying as if he did he'd knew teleport was a thing, and if they say no they get banned for not following rules, that is not even respecting them by reading them in the first place.

i respect people for using teleport and actually being good at it cause i cant even get a single kill on pvp games with teleport

Teleporting may be considered scummy, but at least you aren't walking IRL to glitch through walls. Once I was chased into a house in a pvp game and ran forward IRL and went through the wall. Confused the crap out of the other guy xd

It’s also easy to fight teleporters if you know what to do 1: Look for the Place they will teleport 2: Prefire, shotgun or pistols work wonders

I'm new to rec room, and I gotta say when I experienced a teleporter (my first one was dodgeball) I thought it was hilarious because (1) if it was so OP, I could just try it myself, and (2) I know I'd be disoriented af, so I had respect for the kid who was making plays that show he had a better mental understanding of everything going on. I complimented him because I knew others were not teleporters BY CHOICE and he almost like broke down because apparently no one's complimented him before? Haha
