I watched a UCLA meet on TV and they brought up Peng's beam from 2018. And I almost cried it was so good

PENG, i did my calculations and the results for how many practices you did is.. 🥁ABOUT, ABOUTT 2,190 practices! Wow that is AMAZING 🏅

Granted they’re getting full scholarships but they earn it all doing the commitments required of a D1 athlete (which are not a few!)

I loved this. I hope you can figure out a way to do vids like this even though you've graduated. This was super duper interesting and makes me regret not sticking with athletics. Valorie Kondos Field is retiring as UCLA WOMEN'S GYMNASTICS coach, therefore maybe Peng Peng Li should apply to be head gymnastics coach. Yeah I feel you about early practice. I have swim practice at 5:00am

At my middle school, every sport has practice every morning at 6:45 am. and if we're late, we have to run a lot. So it's pretty early.

I love UCLA but your my favorite gymnast on the team

The funny thing is that you were always saying that you have to get up so early but in Germany school starts at 7.45 am and sometimes when you have practice in the morning you're in the gym at 6.00 am that is hard😂

This is one of me and my friends dream schools

amarkray01 Cory is actually the son of Jerry Tomlinson, the original head coach of the UCLA Gymnastics Team. I believe he hired Miss Val. So that's why he was their 'hype man' or whatever. I just learned that thought it was interesting!

Caroline Bryant Thanks for the about Cory, but I already knew the back story. He was a swimmer in high school, but UCLA had no team for him to earn a scholarship that way. Miss Val found a work-around by having him walk on to the golf team his Freshman year and had him on scholarship the remainder by having him as one of the team managers. I just remember Cory was ALWAYS dancing out on the gym floor during meets and I could easily see Spencer doing the same thing
