Blind knitting? How cool is that!! As a creative person, who does everything with hands, I really adore your ability to knit blind! Muscle memory is such a great thing!

This was really informative for me, as a sighted person. Being blind forces you to be more patient, and patience is truly a virtue. It's truly impressive what blind people must do to work around not having vision and using our other senses!

This was a wonderful video. Denise is a brilliant speaker and presenter, explaining everything clearly and concisely. She reminds me of a teacher who knows how to command her students’ attention... and keep it throughout.

I'm visually impaired as well. Very nice to see this, it gives me encouragement to know I'm not alone. I'm thankful to be working in accounting and my job has been really accommodating and non-judgmental. I'm thankful.

It’s really sad but trust me this high quality training does not happen everywhere I was visually impaired during school it was terrible especially in high school I can remember being taken out of a computer class because I couldn’t see it and nobody there knew anything about accessible technology I didn’t have books for a few years because I couldn’t see them I finally got one large print book my last year in high school and I had a science teacher that would enlarge pages for me because0 she felt sorry I didn’t have a book like all the other kids it was absolutely terrible. When I was in my last year of school I actually found out a place called I can’t think of it now sorry but they made paper thanks for the blind so I found out that if I bought the paper they had green lines on it and I used a red marker I could see then I found braille graph paper and when I figured out how to use it my teachers let me and I could finally do graphs with the rest of the class it was really terrible because I couldn’t do anything and I wasn’t taught how to do anything I taught myself some things later on. I wish you would put out videos on like how to use the phone where you can’t see it how to use jaws that kind of thing

Why can’t you imagine it? Knitting is so incredibly tactile and relies mostly on muscle memory and tactile patterns. It’s one of the easiest hobbies a Blind person can pick up.
