A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A JUNIOR DOCTOR (FY1) ON PAEDIATRICS
This video is a typical day in the life of a junior doctor (FY1) on a paediatrics rotation in the UK. This was recorded back in November. From breakfast and my drive in to work to talking through my working day and finally how I relax at the end of it all. I also took the opportunity to explain exactly how training in the UK works if you are interested in joining the medical field. Hopefully this will be a fun and informative video for you to enjoy!
*Disclaimer: Every effort has been made to ensure patient confidentiality is respected, for this reason I did not film in clinical areas. Patients discussed do not correlate to actual patients seen in time or presentation. *

You deserve more Subscribers ❤️❤️
Please keep making more videos! I’m from Sheffield too and was delighted when I recognised some familiar shops and buildings you were passing. You don’t really see many medical content creators from this city so please keep it up, I really enjoyed this video!

Good luck with the application! From what I've heard from all my friends we all end up doing the same tasks and jobs in the end. Rank whichever you will feel happiest as the highest place.
Hello, how much money can a doctor earn ? I wish to be come doctor, but I would like not to work Wednesday and Thursdays or Fridays, weekend I grow carrot in my allotment. So what I’m saying is how much can I earn for Monday Tuesdays? Regards

Hi! Different hospitals have different policies, and sometimes different departments do to. At mine doctors are allowed to wear any smart clothing. So some people have their own scrubs (like myself), some wear their own clothes and some just wear smart clothes. :)
Where exactly are you located?
This made me smile! Thanks for sharing! You are late to the party = P-R-O-M-O-S-M!
