Loved the video! I was accepted to Hofstra and am really looking forward to most likely attending in the fall! I don't know if you will see this but I was wondering what my odds are of getting a suite as a freshman! And I was also wondering if it's possible to request not only your roommate but your suitemates as well?

Because you are an upcoming freshman, you will most likely be put in a suite with two suite mates and one roommate. In terms of choosing your suite and roommates, you can try contacting resident life via email or by phone.

I hope to be transferring to hofstra next year, thank you for making this video so I could see what it's like, especially during the winter. If I can ask a question, I was curious what the weekend life is like?

No problem Chrissy B. Weekend life is quiet in my opinion; no one is rushing to class and the commuters are all home so the campus may appear empty at first glance. A lot of people utilize the shuttle bus over the weekend to get to the Long Island Railroad and travel to Manhattan to soak in the city life. I personally use my weekends to catch up on work because I have a vigorous major. How you spend your weekend is really up to you!

I just joined the class of 22, and I submitted my housing app. My top choice is Netherlands south. Do you think you can tell me how the walk is to the major academic buildings and if the suits are nice? Thank you for this video, I can’t make it the admitted students days, so this video was super helpful in reminding me of what the campus is like. Also A+ editing!

First off, thank you! I work hard to spread information in a positive, organized and informative way. The walk to the major academic area from the Netherlands is short; all you have to do is cross the “Netherspan”, the bridge like structure that connects the two areas together. The suits are nice and homie btw.

Hey man, Hofstra is my number one pick coming into this admissions season. Couple of questions because you seem pretty knowledgable! First, in your opinion, how is Hofstra? Are the academics top-notch? How are the dorms? Would you say its proximity to the city has advantages for internships and other opportunities? If I am dead-set on going to Hofstra but it is a little expensive, how generous are they? And finally, when are you going to make another one of these awesome videos? Thanks a ton man, this video was great!

Hofstra is great, there are countless things to do around campus, the people are friendly and the dorms are cozy. The professors here are very inspiring but they are not going to hold your hand throughout the year. Things start out slow then escalate quickly so you need to keep your head in the game and don't slack off. The tuition is a bit expensive, I have to admit; your best bet is to look for scholarships, grants and student loans. And in terms of internships, I'm sure you'll find at least one being that Hofstra is a train ride away from Manhattan; there are plenty of internship opportunities in the city. I hope that answers all your questions.

@tonya candelario As long as you're on top of your grades and do what you have to do in terms of the application process you should be fine; just note that the tuition is EXPENSIVE (I'm not even going to lie). But you'll like it at Hofstra, It's a nice University. Enjoy your final year at Franny and good luck with your journey into the adult world. #college

You think I left my GoPro at the sink, took a piss, came out, washed my hands while the camera was still rolling? No dumb dumb. I used the bathroom, washed my hands properly, put the camera on the sink, went back in the stall, flushed the toilet with my foot, then came out and pretended to wash my hands.
