can a consultation liaison psychiatrist practice general medicine? i see some video explaining how clp is a combination between gp / general medicine and psych

Some physicians are trained in both medicine and psychiatry, and a psychiatrist typically has some basic training in medicine and neurology. Generally speaking though, a CL psychiatrist will try to focus on psychiatry
