I have an indoor outdoor cat(I live in the forest and its not like I can stop them anyway feels like the little buggers can teleport) and sometimes they decide its a good idea to just have happy romp around the forest for a full day and night and give me an anxiety attack. My solution for nighttime cat annoyance is I hug them while going back to sleep. They stop bothering you after they manage to get away.
