I’d like very much to see a new video that compares things of “the life” in the Mafia from The Godfather era to today’s world. Basics never change. Still have to have money, political connections, protection, etc. to run things. I would think. Great example is Las Vegas from the heyday from when it was controlled by the private entrepreneurs VS today’s corporate ownership. I can tell you that back then Old Vegas was exciting and glitzy and fun and today Vegas seems to be an amusement park. Lotta lights and bells and whistles. Nerve racking. The class of Old Vegas is gone. Used to be to get into a nice restaurant you had to dress appropriately. Today it seems like it’s just a money grab, and wear flip flops and cut offs - it’s fine. Class isn’t in the menu. So that’s just an example. I think there’s a real question asked about how income is generated VS how it was done in the early days leading up to the “computer age”. How do things work now as opposed to the Old Days? What has changed? What core issues will never change? I enjoy your videos very much.

There's no jumping ahead of people. You get what you're given, when you're given it. If Michael was earning well and running bits and pieces, that automatically puts him ahead of a 20 year veteran, who just kills and collects, even if that person is level headed and efficient. An earner and a leader will always "jump the queue" because they bring more value.

I grew up with a kid who someone told me was part of your crew on the Island .I was not allowed to hang out with him because I was a bad influence on him ,seems funny now. I have watched your stuff and you seem like a very different guy from the ones I knew who went into up in that "life" Having a father you try to follow into a trade who has been well liked and did well can be a trial but that was not a thing for me having a Dad you looked up and would help even if it would hurt you who would let you down big time that is a hurt that leaves a deep scar..Stay safe and healthy ..I enjoy these videos so far so good.

A guy like Michael could have risen to the top in the legit world in any profession he applied himself. Seems clear that the mob life is a million times harder and thus less profitable than just starting out and staying legit for a smart, articulate, ambitious guy like Michael.

Reverse that order Chief. They get into crime BECAUSE it's easier than normal businesses and employment. They purposefully took the shortcut known as crime. Btw Mike is doing that now with his channel and bs Bible thumping. He's not even good at it he says the most basic of Christian phrases and euphemisms and the likes
