I remember finding this at the begining of my transition. I felt so alone and lost , was strung out on heroin, and had no idea how to live anymore. Finding cher and unity and picking up a skatevoard saved my life. Thanks cher! You are an inspiration

I dont know her at all but her energy is just so pure and rad, like I'd love to be friends with someone like her. It takes a lot of courage to just be yourself despite what others may think or say. Had me tearing up at the end when she talked about her parents. Keep being awesome Cher!

I want to so badly but I feel like my body wouldn’t tolerate it anymore. I wanted to skate so bad as a kid and I had a couple boards but the boys in the area I grew up in were brutally mean to girls trying to skate. So none of us did...

Got onto hrt myself at 37.5 and finally have balance and coordination that I didn't have before, now at 39.5 i got myself a board and am have found I can now balance on it in heels (as well as flats), now time to go to the skate park down the road!

I grew up with her skateboarding, making music and art. I’m stoked she’s doing good, and heartbreaking that I found out what happened to Dani. She was close with my sister and died around the same time.

It's not about being one sex or the other but about being always in a juxtaposition ....rather than erase or repress one or the other, let them make friends and ride off into the sunset together. 🛹

I used to live out there..a few times infact. Got stung out on one of em. Im from Baltimore...it just echoed up from my past and I got caught up. Back out East I fought for years. Lost so many friends as fentanyl slowly started replacing the heroin Bonita quinine mix (scramble) that was dope in Baltimore for eons. I od'd uncountable times. The last one touched me thank god...and been clean ever since. The news is still regular of people I was close with passing...some hitting harder then others but for lack of other better words...THE SHIT IS MAD REAL. Lost both my folks in a years time....Mom...Cancer and a pops wrecked his Harley and it killed him. Was clean for it all and remain clean. Hang in there. Keep fighting your fight! Skate or die!! 🙏

God I love her so much. I just saw her on a vans ad on Facebook and came here to check her out.
My nephew is FTM trans. I could NOT be more proud that I have a wonderful person like him to grace my life. Back when he was in high school, he made rainbow LGBTQ shirts to support me and my husband. My mother still cannot adjust to him and still uses the old name when talking to him, my brother (his Father) or myself. My mother was elated when I broke the closet door off. My brother at first was not accepting. He was an ordained minister. LOL. That didn't last. We didn't speak for 14 years. Now... My brother is one of my biggest supporters. Same for his Son, Damien. I'm extremely proud of my family. We've progressed a lot in absence. And even more since the healing started.
