Hi! I loved this video! You're so bubbly! I just started the MA program this past Monday! I am studying at home due to COVID-19. All the terminology and reading, all the information seems overwhelming but my instructor encouraged me and let me know it gets easier! Haven't been to school in 10 years! Excited for my future.

You should definitely do it ! I know nursing can get competitive and the teas test is the hardest part to get admitted but you never know unless you try! If not becoming an MA is also a good stepping stone for those wanting to get into the medical field:)!

Do you plan on keeping your career as a MA or do you want to move further into the field, like become a nurse or something? I'm just wondering because I'm considering going into trade school for a MA program, and if I decide to keep my career as a MA, will I be able to support myself as an adult (like pay bills, buy a house, live comfortably, etc etc.)? How are you in life with this career path?

Michelle Aguilar memorizing things for me was also a challenge but once I saw that all my medical terminology tests scores were A’s It made me feel good😭 girl u got this I’m sure you will get certified everything u do will be worth it at the end✨

For people who work at offices/hospitals it surprises me not all the nurses are sanatizing through out the whole day even for todays pandemic . I even see each worker not cleaning there office computer / My mom is OCD and she does more then the nurses lol she’s the most cleanest person I know she always have to have wet ones,germex,Lysol etc even before this pandemic and she will wipe down everything before she uses it

When I was in MA school I use to use quizlit a lot. It really helped me 😭

Im going to be starting January 13 to be a Medical Assittant

I have my medical assistant diploma but I never got certified it was very hard trying to get a job in the field so now I am currently studying pharmacy tech in hopes of becoming a pharmacy technician I will be getting certified. All my family keeps telling me to go back and become certified as a MA but I feel like I have sincerely forgot everything I learned so I am scared to take the certification for it.

Yes sometimes, at the beginning it can be hard for some people to find a job in the field i myself went through that. That’s why it is very important to research the school they decided to attend before they even enroll and too make sure that the school sends there students to a good externship site where they are hiring. I think it’s awesome that you are studying for pharmacy tech now, you not only have 1 but 2 careers in the medical field. I would honestly recommend maybe watching some videos to refresh your mind that way u can take the certification for MA don’t be scared I believe in you, you got this girl! :)

All you need is to be certified or registered. Getting either a certificate or AAS doesn’t matter too much

I just 6 months program with a community college for certification through the in NHA. And I received a job 2 months after getting it. As long as the program is through a credit it one like NHA, and recognized. I feel it doesn't matter. My program was less than $2,000 with the community college for 6 months. While some do 9 months/year for over 30,000 which I find ridiculous.

You probably wanna get your degree as a MA by going to community college or something if you don't want a certificate. I feel like it's easier to get a certifixate though but it depends on what program you ask. I am going through freedom academy and so far it's free and it's really not that hard it's actually pretty fun.
