Bro, you're living quite a normal life (it's just a phase) BUT the great thing about your content is that you're sharing all these feelings that many aspiring youngsters are going through - especially those following the normal framework and (you're) laying it bare. This will help a lot of youngsters to calm down when they go through the motion. I see a really smart, confident, focused and ambitious young man with a lot of potential. To say you'll go far is an understatement...Keep it raw and fun as usual. I believe you'll do all the right things when imminent success comes.

Not that I would have chosen it over the path I did go down, but I was not aware of PE at ALL when I was in college, only heard about it some time afterwards

Don't worry, you aren't missing out! It's a tough job and pays well, but not for everyone (myself included)
I'd love to hear about Andrew's journey to consulting coming from a non target college. Currently I'm gearing up for consulting recruiting and also attend a non target undergrad!

Hey Oliver! 100% will have Andrew talk about his experience coming from a non target undergrad in a future vid!
Hey again Matt, thanks for the update. Hope you're doing well in your new life situation:) Very interesting to have your brother on, I would love to hear some more insights on his experience in PE. I have a question and i need some expert insights from you, if you have the time:) I've been offered a job as a corporate finance analyst at PWC but i've also been offered a job as an investment analyst at a smaller venture capital firm. I know I would be very satisfied with either of the jobs, but it's hard to choose which one. Ultimately, I want to choose the opportunity that will most effectively propel my career forward, but I'm unsure which of the opportunities that would do that for me. PWC has a far stronger brand, but i also know that venture capital can be a pretty hard career to break into, and therefore fairly prestigious and good on a resume? Thanks! - Emil!

Hey Emil! First of all, congrats on landing both offers! I'd agree with you that PWC has a stronger brand but VC is also a more difficult industry to break into. My one question is what role you'll be doing in each job. Corporate Finance Analyst at PWC sounds like it may not be client facing (if it's an internal FP&A type role), whereas in VC you'd be networking with founders and getting alot of "client/founder interaction". That said, it depends on what you want to do long term as well - if you don't find VC interesting, then it makes more sense to get the PWC brand which you can leverage to pivot elsewhere in the future. However, if you like startups - go for the VC firm! You probably won't work with startups much at PWC. Hope this helps!
