Nice job hanging the plant. Concerning the hook itself, I STRONGLY recommend using swivel hooks instead of stationary hooks such as you used because they enable simple adjustment of the plant’s position. I always use swivel hooks and find the adjustment capability to be nicely beneficial. I enjoyed the video.

With the cactus with no roots, I would say bottom water so it will have to grow longer roots to get water.

Please read the instructions on the toggle hook! If you put it in the hole with the V open towards the ceiling, the weight of the plant can cause the V to collapse back in and fall out of the hole. The toggle V needs to be upside down (like this ^) so it opens flat once it is put through the hole and cannot be pulled back out.

Hey Harli! I feel you on the partner not liking holes in the ceiling. A good compromise was purchasing a set of heavy duty ceiling hooks that just stick on so you don’t have to worry about holes! I got mine on Amazon and they come off easily if you apply heat (I just use a blow dryer :)

Harli! You put the hook upside down. That makes it less strong. Be careful not to put as much weight on it as it says. Side note, hello from me up in Logan! :)

Despite your succulents not even being in the top ten of my favorite plants you’ve shown in your videos, I do have to admit they’re probably the most helpful for me 😅 As easy as they are for some, they simply aren’t for me! Either I baby them too much or not enough! There is no in between 😂

Hey Harli! I saw those plant chains and baskets at my local Dollar Tree

You can get chains of all sizes at big box stores (Home Depot/Lowes/Manards). They will cut them to the length you need too. I don't think it costs much. :)

Love the snow!! Makes you play like a kid again!! Snow in the uk is rubbish!! 2 days max & it turns to slush so quick! By the time you’ve got your warm kit on it’s melted!

I feel the same about macrame, I found a plant hanger made of jute rope without any dangle tassels on the bottom, looks much cleaner 😊 I like your chain one too 💚

I like the way macrome looks but its soo hard for me to reach and take down off the ceiling to water and then the hanging vines leaves always get sll tangled in the ropes and i get annoyed messing with that. Especially when hanging growers pots so quick and easy take on and off and doesnt tangle

Also in general the older it is the more it can callus on the bottom. Some of mine have that kinda.
