It feels like it's been a minute since we've last caught up! Welcome back to another day in my life vlog. I wanted to first thank you all so much for being patient with this wedding Q&A video. There were so many amazing questions that came in, and I wanted to really be intentional with answering as many questions as I could for you guys. I am hoping that by sharing my experiences and some tips from my wedding will help and/or inspire some of you for planning a wedding of your own some day!
Along with this post-wedding talk, Max and I have also been spending some time in Amsterdam. It feels so good to be back home here for awhile, and to relax a bit after such a big event in our lives. Being in Amsterdam always reminds me to slow down a little, as we seem to always be moving at such a fast pace every day without even realizing it. I've noticed that slowing down and taking time for yourself is still being productive! Some simple, small ways that I take time for myself can be getting myself ready for the day. This could be putting on a nice outfit, some make up, or styling my hair to feel more put together for the day! Your wedding was beautiful. I just got engaged and beginning my journey to plan a wedding. Honestly, I don't know where to start. Italy is a special place for us, and it's one of the destinations we're considering for the wedding. Who was your wedding planner, and what was great about them? Hi Sanne, the reason your hair takes so long to dry could have something to do with its porosity.. look into it :)... Also.. such a BEAUTIFUL wedding!

Hi! Jewelry I wore was all from Logan Hollowell. I wore some small pumps/heels from Manolo Blahnik for the wedding, and the theme of the wedding was Chic Italian Summer vibes :)

Hi it’s because you have highlighted hair as it’s more porous it takes longer to dry. Also a wet brush is kinder to your hair when wet as a normal brush will stretch it and snap it ❤

There is no way you are using the Dyson Supersonic hair dryer and think this one‘s better?! is it possible you are talking about the hair dryer attachment from your Airwrap? Sanne, I hope you see this. Can you please tell me a bit more about what you said regarding coffee on an empty stomach effecting female hormones? I have been trying intermittent fasting from time to time, and anyime I regularly had coffee on an empty stomach, my period would come late that month So what you said rang some bells for sure.. Thanks!

Hi! I have heard and read many things recently on sometimes drinking coffee on an empty stomach in the morning can potentially effect female hormones, just because our cortisol levels tend to be naturally higher in the mornings when we wake up! But as always, listen to your body and how you feel/react with coffee. :) hope this helps!

2 hours is not long to air dry your hair. :) thick hair takes around a day to completely dry.
