A day in my life as an ESL Teacher in China | Romalee

Join me for a day in my life as an ESL teacher in China! See what it's like to work in a foreign country and experience the joys and challenges of working with people from different cultures.
NB: This video was recorded in winter. Since then, things have changed drastically which I won't speak on while I'm still living in the country.
Things have changed in the ESL industry for Jamaicans and people of color.
Enjoy the video! ❤️

In all honesty, this video was made in winter in December. Things are bad for Caribbean nationals and more specifically, people of color. Salaries are being cut in half for us while the workload remains the same

@@romaleerowe Okay, that put things in perspective. I've been turned down by one recruiter and I'm sure it was because of my skin colour. Hopefully things turn around.
