I just found your channel yesterday--love it! I live in Oak Island, North Carolina, USA. A couple of weeks ago as I was swimming here in the Atlantic ocean, I had the thought---I want to go to Greece. I've never been to Europe so I'm researching where to go in Greece, probably next year. Thanks for your channel!

Kalo mina, Daniel. I get you. Men are task oriented, so you need to "get it done," or you won't be happy. We are all the slaves of the things we love. Meanwhile, my rescue dog is outside chewing on the remains of a wild boar's head she found. Wild boars are common in my area. I think I need a tsipouro too.

You adapted in Greece on the coffee and tsipouro, but missed the most important thing: Χαλαρααααά. I mean who cares about the schedule, especially when it is your hobby? Chill out and try to enjoy. I do not drink coffee or tsipouro, but I do not need them. I got the "right" mentality and so I unwind on my own hehe. Καλο μήνα!

Most of the times, i force my will to overcome it, but if i can't 1-2 tsipoura will put me back on track. Thank you for doing this video, tsipouro is the best!

If I am not mistaken, tsipouro is more prominent in continental Greece. I know in Macedonia, Thessaly, Epirus, the Peloponnese locals consume their own tsipuro as they also do in Crete with tsikoudia. I might be wrong, but I believe that ouzo is more prominent with locals in the eastern Aegean islands, like Lesvos, Chios, etc.

I hope your day ended up better. I like to listen to you speak Greek. I tried to learn it using duolingo for about a year and a half. I practiced every day. It is not an easy language. Then we moved to Germany and will be here a couple years, so I switched to German for now. I still can't speak either one, but I like Greek better.

Greetings from Athens and Kalo Mina! I'm guessing you are a Capricorn, as Capricorns like to get things done, which is a great quality. However, all days are different and it's perfectly OK every now and then to take it easy and not finish all the tasks at hand. After all, we don't have the same energy every single day and other things come up unexpectedly as well. People stress out over deadlines and getting everything done, but unless it's a matter of life or death, there is no need to spend every day of life like running a marathon and stressing out over things that are not that important. As long as we and our loved ones are well and healthy, creating videos and doing other little chores can wait for a later time. Every day is different and we need to take them as they come and go with the flow! Enjoy the tsipouro! 🥃
