This is THE very definition of Timelapse as a story telling medium. Absolutely stunning imagery (especially in 4K), well edited. A love letter to the great city of Chicago.

@@AmedeeBoulette Cette vidéo est en 4K... Si tu regardes sur un smartphone ça ne le sera pas. Il faut être sur un ordinateur ou TV !

I went here last month and it was so fun, I've been to Chicago about 10 times now lol
Absolutely amazing!!! Such a great city. I love how you catch the skyline from above Lake Michigan as well. Surprised the aquarium and museums didn’t make the cut, they are such classic Chicago architecture. Round 2 maybe?

Bonjour Emeric, je suis scotché sur cette merveille de réalisation c'est magnifique. Sur mon grand écran TV, je suis en plein admiration, je me le passe en boucle, c'est passionnant, on ne voit pas le temps passer tellement c'est fascinant. Les sujets ont de superbes couleurs. Il est dur de choisir un sujet préféré car c'est tellement bien varié. Mais si je dois en choisir un c'est le dernier. Cette vue sur la ville avec les lumières qui s'intensifient avec la tombée de la nuit, c'est époustouflant. Quand on regarde ça, on dirait une ville sans défauts. Tu es la perfection et j'adore ce que tu réalises. Chapeau bas, Merci. Je peux déjà dire, vive ta prochaine Timelapse. Cordialement François

Great video and a lot of effort to record in so many places. I recently did 24 hour timelapse from my window. This is also possible in times of Corona and on a day with April weather is also varying.

Hi Emeric! Love the video. Could I use a small part of it for a school project? I like how the shadows move across the buildings.
Beautiful piece! How do you gain access to the timelapse locations? I noticed a lot of locations that were very high above the city. Were they hotel rooms? Or did you work with companies/owners/property managers to access those locations?

A bunch of different locations in this video including 2 observation decks (360 Chicago that offers Tripod Mondays, and Skydeck), a couple of hotels and private offices/rooftops as well where I knew someone haha

They are moving? lol not sure what's the issue! There is a speed ramp here, maybe why it looks weird to you!

@@EmericTimelapse No some of them got a fullstop and are going backwards. Baybe there was a strong wind backwards between several layers of the mainstream wind.
