PCH from L.A. to Monterey is my favorite part of California since I started visiting in 2004! Wow, you guys said Carmel by the Sea is a very beautiful and charming town, as beautiful as any City in the US. Thanks for saying that, because I really hadn’t visited Carmel yet, but needless to say, you guys have sold me. And next year it will definitely be on my list!! Thanks guys! 😀

Absolutely perfect review of Carmel By the Sea. Most beautiful clean beaches and sand. Horrible place to surf or swim.

You are very mistaken when you say 'The buildings look old, but I'm sure they're new'. Carmel is one of the oldest towns in California. Many of the buildings are fro the early part of the last century.
Check out Solvang next time you’re in California. It’s a danish inspired town
