I'm so sad I wanna go to Japan so bad. Everything about Japan fascinates me. Look how friendly the teachers are and they use their phones in class and they're allowed to put on their favorite music during lunch ,, It's everything I want 😭😭

i saw once a japanese former schoolgirl in a video with the song "happy". She told me her school life wasn't so atrocious, her uniform was comfortable, her holidays times have a reasonnable number, he do not had so much of pressures... but i refused to believe her :'( cause i though it would be too beautiful to be true , like her i feel regrets , now

Ohh no , you can try to inform them about companies who work with trust full families , there you can change your family anytime you want . I know people who changed host families various times

Uhh go to Japan in monsoon season and Summer and get back to us. Japanese live with Umbrella. And summer is crazy crazy hot and humid.

In all honesty I love my school Its true there are schools that are different than what you think but the majority of Japanese schools are friendly but strict. However, this doesn't apply to all. I truly feel grateful that I now live in an experience many people dream or wish for. Someday though I hope you can all visit!

No , knowing a little Japanese is recommended but as long as you know English you will be fine because a lot of exchange students come here with little to no knowledge of Japanese and if you stick to learning Japanese in Japan you are quickly pick up the language little by little :) so go for it!! it will be a memorable and fun experience :)

it remember now that i went on a video with the song "Happy" of Pharell Williams , with dancing students and even teachers in a Tokyo school. in one of these comment, there was a dude who said "make me want to go in such school". i told him that schools in japan would be among the worst kind of schools, citing a list of flaws. and then there was a japanese girl has talked. she told me that her time in school was more good than some thought. she debunked my points. in her school, the number of vacations were rather generous, the bullies can be severly punished, the uniforms they wear would be comfortable to wear, they didn't clean rooms that often in a week, the stresses aren't so common, even their teachers can be kind and appreciated by the students... she even miss that time. but the worst is that i refused to be believe her, what she said seemed too beautiful to be true... she was kind and i was monstruous with her! i feel bad now when i think about it...now i can't even make apologies to her because the video was then deleted (for copyright) i feel like the discussion i had with her will haunt me to the rest of my days... :'(

I see how people really want to go to a Japanese school. But everything is not so colorful, and, basically, exactly the same as in other schools. Teachers are not always good. Traditions are rigid and the most disappointing thing in Japan for me is that there are few sour-milk products, there is no tasty bread in supermarkets (only for tochs, it is tasteless, in my opinion, if you eat it without toasting), it is difficult to make friends in Japanese school if you moved there. Despite the fact that I really like anime and Japanese traditions, buildings, society, I would not part with my favorite products (there are also few apricots and raspberries in Japan!). But, Japanese food is delicious, I won't get tired of eating it~~~ The one who lives there is really used to it and it is quite possible to live well there! But for those who moved here.. It's still nice here, but it's hard to live without your usual traditions, friends, food..
