A DAY AT THE SPA - JULY 2021
Recently my sister and I checked out the SoJo Spa Club in Edgewater, New Jersey. This spa has been open for a few years now and we've heard good things about it. I'm happy to say that we really enjoyed this place! I would happily come here just to spend a day using all the facilities. Of course, having a massage appointment is a plus! The place is so clean and the pools have nice views of New York City. There's also a small hotel attached to this spa for those who want to get their spa on early...or late.
The only tricky thing is the parking. Valet parking is limited and parking might be available at a nearby strip mall so if you can, take taxi over there. FYI - valet parking and 2 hours facilities access is included with spa service appointments.

They told me no video in locker rooms and no video while you're in the big pools. Otherwise I've seen people take selfies everywhere.
I’ve heard this place is uncomfortably packed. Was this your experience?

To be honest I've been there 3 times and it was always in the middle of the week - like Mon Tue or Wed. So for me was not uncomfortably packed.
So if I understand correctly you did the day pass + the spa??

No, no. If you do a spa appointment (I did a 1 hour massage) then you have 2 hours access to the facilities in addition to your spa appointment. If you just want access to the facilities, then the day pass will give that. Hope that helps. The details are on their website.

@@coreyburris6989 Yes - access to all the pools and saunas for 2 hours. Not food though. You still have to buy that in the cafeteria.

As of today the daily rate for a weekday is $100 and weekend and holiday daily rate is $115 to access all the pools, saunas locker rooms. You don't have to be a member to just go in for the day. More information can be found at www.sojospaclub.com , hope that helps...

We did have a spa appointment which allows for 2 hour spa access in addition to the appointment. When I went, there was a mid-week promo for spa access only for $75.

@Queen Al Glad you liked the video! 2 hr spa access means you can access all the pools and hot tubs and saunas and relaxation areas. It does not include any spa services or food from cafeteria. I hope and your bf enjoy it!
Can we purchase socks and slippers if so when can we wear them

There's no shop there to purchase socks or slippers. Everyone really does walk around barefoot. The only exception I saw was when you used the restroom, they had disposable slippers at the door.
What about in the winter?

According to sojospaclub.com they are open :) You may want to call though about the outdoor pools/hot tubs. I can't imagine anyone would want to go to the waterfall in winter -- it's already cold enough in summer :)

Winter is the best time to go! Its a winter wonderland, heated pools hot sanuas, hot tubs, heated infinity pool. Im headed back there this week. So excited!

There are 2 "big" pools. The rest are different kinds of hot tubs or activity water features (like the waterfall, the foot stream, etc.)

I have been there last month - September - and it was still warm weather to enjoy. I imagine it's okay in the Fall but you may be indoors most of the time if the weather is cool (or outdoors but in the hot tubs!)
I will b looking into this. I saw on TV. 50 a day during week. 75 weekends.

Start looking for babysitter for my Rescue animals otherwise can't go. But it will be ok until a later date. My animals must be taken good care of.
