Such an interesting , nice CLEAN shelter for these poor animals. I've never visited. (I live in Spain)., but I do sponsor a Dog Kennel & a Kitty Cabin. Thanks for showing the wonderful place Battersea is.

Wonderful video. It was fun to see Sadie again and watch you film a video about your passion. I do confess to having a dauchsund with all his papers. We’ve always had dachshunds in the family going back many many generations . However they are clever hunters and a great family dog. It’s important that pets are well cared for. My sisters dog is the featured dachshund on Seth Meyers late show. He likes to jet ski and be out on the boat. He’s piper no swiping on Facebook. My building downtown is filled with all sorts of dogs. The dog park is around the corner at navy pier and there are all sorts of day care and dog walkers nearby. My dog only comes for two weekends a month . The only problem walking him in the city is having to stop for photographs with him by the tourists and children.

Sounds like a wonderful dog :) Although even sadly Pedigree Dachshunds are not the same dogs they used to be over 100 years ago. This obsession with Pedigree dogs is actually causing real problems for future generations of dogs. I appreciate the current ones you are around are probably in amazing health but with each certificate that gets issued to prove they are more and more pedigree brings each generation of Dog closer to problems. However, saying all this Dachsunds are one of my favourite dogs!

Your video was really nice and educative but I always feel sad seeing dogs in a cage :( it is a place I want to visit too! Great video as always :)

Got my bets from bats in London don’t go to Kent one coz they all keep them , I don’t get why my dog was in there? The owner couldn’t selll her coz she has a heart defect! Gutted she is the best an loves kids an peeps she would never bite you xxx

Fantastic! I’m sure you have given them a great life! Sadly not everyone gets their pets from Shelters. Never buy an animal.
