A Dangerous Weather Pattern Is Developing...

In this weather forecast, we are breaking down a BIG pattern change. This pattern will be VERY different from what we dealt with last week, with severe weather continuing (but not nearly as significant), and very disorganized disturbances making an appearance! Damaging winds, large hail, and tornadoes will be possible. Find the latest details of the weather across the United States in our latest weather forecast.

I'm not certain on the exact time of the following info because the weather got so bad, so fast. It was between 10:15 pm and 10:45 pm last night. A funnel cloud went directly over our house and wrecked a lot of things in our neighborhood. I don't think it ever touched down, but it was treetop level low. I know this because I, our eldest son, and our nephew SAW the thing. I heard it first, then our eldest son did. We and others in the neighborhood had roof and window damage. There were MANY trees down that snapped MANY power poles and lines. It got so bad that our two oldest sons had to fight to hold the front door closed because the wind kept ripping it open. Our youngest son prayed out loud and read passages from his Bible to comfort our family members that were hunkered down in the hall to protect their children (our grandbebes). The power went out of course. We just got it back on an hour ago. This was after the storm earlier this week that damaged our two eldest sons' homes and vehicles. They've been staying with us since then because their homes were damaged. Now our home is damaged. Mother Nature is kicking our collective butts this week. We live in southeastern Louisiana, btw.

It was headed right for my sister's house where we were trying to get we were able to make it under a gas station awning and rode it out there. As we sat the storm snapped the gas station trees in half and the trees at chic FIL a at hwy 6 and west were snapped in half. THANK YOU!! You saved us from driving right Into it

No tornado sirerns went off until AFTER the tornado did its damage. Crazy stuff.
