We can follow the model of Singapore. Though it will be difficult to implement everything Singapore adopted as India is a vast country and implementing every tiny little thing and monitoring it might not be feasible. But we can implement many things Singapore adopted on a macro level like adopting and enacting MRHA act which is based on two very powerful principles. If we can adopt Acts like these, it will definitely give India dividend in the long run.

What I think the biggest problem with baba phenomenon is that these babas reject 2 way communication. There is a central figure of a baba who's getting all the attention and rest are just standing there with their hands joined. Also these babas, NEVER, just NEVER, admit that they may be wrong or they are not the expert or they don't have much idea about this particular topic, once the bhakt completes the question, the baba starts like a radio news broadcast and keep saying whatever the f… he wants to say for half an hour to an hour or more.

I have the same thought... They always deny 2 way communication and in response they always say you need some sort of baba they use guru more specifically to reach to that entity or God.... So in all of that now baba is the main point of focus for all the people who were listening...

Sir you are right ,there target audience is 16-20 years old teenagers . Especially the girls i think . I am 19 years old and i am watching everybody in my friend circle is very much influenced from them. Even the science students. They passed out 12 but they does not about simple things like big bang ,evolution etc. Our education system is also a big problem 🙏

As Vimoh often says, if you could disprove evolution you’d have a couple nobel prizes in your shelves. For those that seek the truth about origin of humans evolution is not just a theory but an answer and the best one at that.

India as a country is under going a silent crisis of consciousness. We have so many problems that require painfull, long term solutions. But we are not ready to understand our problems and solve them in a rational way. Thats why we will never really evolve as a nation. Babagiri is such a scam.

I said this to my mother that if things are about money, then I should just become a baba. No educational requirements and barely any investment, just go to some mountain for few years and when you return spread the rumour that you have become enlightened.

I like many of the things that Acharya Prashant says, that are practical. Of course not those that go into the mythical realm. He has been talking about climate change and recently even he had to say that people in his session were listening him talk about climate change because they came there to learn Geeta. If he had not been teaching scriptures, no one would give their time for climate change. And that's one of the reasons mainstream media or politicians don't talk about climate change. People are more interested in consuming content about religion. So, whoever wants acceptance for their thoughts or content in social media language, it has to be wrapped in the silver foil called religion.

We need to understand that these scriptures are not sacred and lead to social evils, having these rotten beliefs in the core of your teaching will never enable you to create a new society, because you may have changed the meanings and interpreted them differently, yet you are presenting them as something profound, sacred and ultimately true. We need to completely throw away all the books which claim divine origin or inspiration and unfortunately with all his progressive ideas and everything, Acharya Prashant is not the man who'll succeed in doing so.

I'm just extrapolating from my personal experience here...the root of this trend could very well be in our education system. Remember when we used to refer to MBD guides more than (and in some cases, instead of) the prescribed textbooks, because they explained concepts in a much simpler way? Even the teachers used to recommend and sometimes even refer to these so-called guides. However, all these guides did was provide us with ways to cut corners and score well. The incentive was so high that most of us 'average Indians' preferred such 'shortcut guides' in all aspects of life. I'm a 35-year old guy and I've grown up seeing this through my schooling to B-Tech graduation (BPUT students give me a shoutout if you remember Alok guides). Real life mein na, MBD and Alok guides ke naam pe bas Maha Bhadra Dhongi and Alokik Babas hi milte hain...aur hum unhe pasand bhi karte hain. Kyunki sardi khaasi ko theek karne ke liye, ghar pe pade masaalon ko kootna zyaada asaan hai than ek doctor ki raay lena...kya pata woh 100 test prescribe karde aur unka natija hume pasand na aaye?

Agar success kar gaya toh fir baba ko hi credit dega jab ki mehnat uski hai aur fir life ke aakhri parawo mein ek badi badi fekne wala uncle banke ghumega jiske basic concepts bhi clear nahi hote. Aur agar success nahi kara toh aur babao ke paas jaayega yaa spiritualism mein ghuske kisi ashram mein pada rahega... aur agar aise hi 100 mein se 2 3 bacche ashram mein hi pade rehne lage toh future economy aur work places ki kya halat hoga socho. And that's how a country also lead to a great depression, that's why rationality and Critical thinking society ke liye bahut jaruri hota hai

Probably would have ridiculed him but cuz he pandered to that scripture which you endorse, u developed a bias for it. 2. For a moment lets say one did gain knowledge on reading n understanding it, then you too shall read it to get the same knowledge instead of blindly believing it no? 3. I myself follow acharya prashant cuz he talks practical n logical. Through vedas you can't about space science cuz its not simply in its domain. Refer upanishads for self-knowledge and self-awarness. Not for nonsense mysterical stuff like rockets

@@preetgamer1495 First of all comparing Sanatana Dharma with barbaric Islam makes no sense.I am just trying to say is what todays science calls itself practical and logical but it's way far from what Vedas, Surya Siddhanta etc.have already explored.For example a flag at Puri jaganath mandir flys opposite to the direction of the wind is it practical or logical no but it does exist.Another example is Ayurveda a part of Vedas has a cure for all diseases of the present and future which works on the concept of vata, pitta and kapha but modern science doesn't consider it a science it calls it a pseudo science but Ayurveda is still authentic and will be.

I have listened to him for over 2 years and I think he is no different. He is just the same, he is the wise man, everyone else has to stand there bowing their head, their hands joined in submission, he speaks on things he has no expertise on, he never accepts any criticism, only his interpretation is right and if someone has any other interpretation, they are committing a fallacy, like once he was talking about Friedrich Nietzsche and he got angry when someone said that Nietzsche was the reason for Nazism and stared saying "Ye kahte Hain Nietzsche?" "Ye kahte hain Nietzsche?" While it's an accepted thing in academia that nobody actually understands what Nietzsche actually says but he tried to present as if what he understood is the actual meaning of what Nietzsche said. Also he speaks on everything, like literally everything and I have never heard him saying "I don't know", once he was saying that giving birth to one child is equal to cutting off 1 million trees so to aave environment don't have kids which is clearly false. Also he sometimes gives outrageous advice, like once he was saying that you should change your place of living every year which is clearly impossible in current socioeconomic conditions of India. He also does victim blaming a lot, most of the times he encourages people to not listen to their family which is a classic tactic of a cult leader, a cult leader wants to cut you off form all the support you have and wants you to be dependent on him for everything and I get a strong feeling that it is what he implies. PS: I'm not giving a verdict, I am just expressing what I felt during the 2 year period in which I regularly listened to this acharya Prashant and I always felt that there is something which isn't right with this guy. Also I am not a big fan of him presenting Upanishads and Gita as one solution to all problems.

@@RR_theproahole well I respect your opinion, but there are others as well who listened him for few months and become more mature, housewives started working for societies, people got more and more aware towards climate crisis, youngsters started working for NGOs, there is one people wo literally said AP prevented him from suicide. Ofcourse if you want perfectionism from AP than its your fault. But at the end there are more positive impact than negative impact by him on society.

Ofcourse it's visible from each and every index. We are going down in hunger, happiness, press freedom, etc. even economic disparity is at an all time low since freedom, we are one of the worst economies with respect to GDP per capita and also an interesting phenomena is that we are also getting shorter, average height in India is going down. All this shows how bad things are going in thos country and Baba phenomenon is just a byproduct of all this.

This is not exactly true, people have faith in these babas mostly for spiritual purposes but the people know that these babas have a propoganda and they are using their baba image to influence people, we should not forget that the common man of india is able to see the difference, everyone jokes about the babas behind their backs...it's mostly older people who share a lot of faith in these babas or people from extremely downtrodden places and the reason people loose their faith in the experts is that these experts are involved in all types of under the table action, their rates are too high, and also show a lack of sensitivity towards the problems of the common man, people sense that atleast this baba listens to them...though the expert can help them better but people still listen to the person that caters to their emotions just like politicians. It's ignorant to think that the common man dosen't understand these issues and will allow babas to rule their senstive spaces and faculties, people simply don't have proper access to the academics and the intellectuals as more often than not they look down upon the common man, with better infrastructure and connectivity the baba problem will fade away...

Everyone jokes about Baba behind their back is ignorance. I was once talking to a NEET aspirant and telling how I hate this particular Baba because he just speaks on everything and doesn't stick to spirituality alone. She said that her whole family is an ardent believer of that Baba. The amount of senseless justification I had to hear was cumbersome. Both her parents are doctors too. The point about emotions is true though and something that should be improved upon by experts.

Vimoh's view on acharya prashant is same as other fraud baba's but here is where I differ with him. Also don't come to conclusion with other's opinion. Assess things yourself and arrive to conclusion by yourself otherwise what's the difference between blind faith follower and knower?

Don't understand why people are outrightly rejecting acharya prashant and clubbing him in the same league of fraud baba's like sadhguru, iskon etc. Just cuz he has initial of "acharya" to his name (which he clarified that it's hindi translation for "teacher/scholar") and a beard doesn't mean you can come to conclusion without assessing his content. He had outrightly rejected concept of "superpower/god" in old videos and even today he preaches that " Assess and know/understand, don't blindly believe. Question everything ! Be a knower not believer". These are his words ! And he repeatedly has been emphasizing on it. Another way to assess a person's authenticity in this domain is to figue out for following characters: 1. If they endorse the ruling establisment/majoritarianism 2.cater the public by validating prevelant norms n notions of society (i.e. nodding yes to societies whims regardless of how regressive it is) 3. preaching the concept of "your religion is the authentic one and superior" And this religion is usually the one of majority. And acharya prashant's discourses are complete opposite to above points: 1. He has often pointed out how political parties use the shield of religion n cast to avoid being accountable for jobs n welfare. Has has repeatedly emphasized on how the job of govt/politicians is to improve countrie's standard of living n provide with better facilities and not to preach religious shit as that's not in their domain. 2. He has been vocal on regressive n superstitious practices of society be it blindly following rituals n stuff. Also he endorses veganism, he is feminist and highlights climatic crisis. 3. His entire concept of religion is " Science helps you to gain knowledge of external world while philosophy/scriptures helps you gain knowledge of yourself/the I entity. In short, becoming self-aware/self-knowledge thereby getting liberated of this intrinsic suffering. There is a reason you don't see his clips on RW hindutva pages ! Cuz he doesn't pander to that regressive/hatefull ideology. Also its beyond there pea-sized brain to comprehend n understand his teachings.
