A Dam Good Time! Hiking to Relief Reservoir from Kennedy Meadow.

Are you ready for a dam good time on a dam hike that'll make you say...dam!
Ok, maybe I overplayed the puns, but this truly was a fun and easy hike that I exceeded my expectations. This is the Relief Reservoir hike.
I'll be honest, the first half of this hike was on a flat dirt road along a meadow. It was very pleasant, and great for fishing and families, but it was a little boring. However, things really kicked up after 2 miles when the trail began to wind through a rocky gorge. The reservoir at the end was beautiful, but crossing the unique dam was the icing on the cake. So if you're looking for something easy early in the season, this could be a great hike for you.
