a word about the secrets - backtracking is IMPORTANT! I didn’t find a lot of them until my second playthrough because I assumed areas wouldn’t change, but they do. also they can be hidden in false walls + tall grass

The subtle storytelling here is excellent. The hand symbols on the password to the fighting arena are actually sign language and translate to "I L BOX", or "I love box". This is the same as the graffiti mark that Fingertaker was staring at. We know Fingertaker was saddened by Iron Punch's disappearance, so that graffiti was probably made by Iron Punch. The final act reveals that Boxers and the crew knew 8, meaning that 8 is likely Iron Punch. This all implies that 8 also wrote the notes with the password. He left those behind for you knowing he was likely to be killed by Skye/Silvie, hoping that you could help the crew after he was gone.

I also thought that but 2 things is that 8 had only gone missing a day and fingertakers friend disappeared a few days back, and also 8 got killed early in the game and at the end we see ironpunches box in the labyrinth so it probably wasn't 8

I don't think you went back in time - remember when the frog kid said he shot her? It looked like he got her in the eye, judging from that split-second image we saw. This Skye's 'wound' appears to be the opposite eye, so it could be something to do with reflections, or maybe alternate worlds. But there's definitely something interesting going on either way~

Yeah, you can also see a bunny/rabbit icon with a heart-shaped eye in the right bottom corner whenever the game is autosaving (1:36:13 for example) so it'll definitely play an important role

I was actually not that impressed by the demo, but just like Amanda the Adventurer, the fully fleshed out game exceeded my expectations by a HUGE margin, I'm actually really looking forward to what this game brings to the table next, and the cliffhanger at the end of this first chapter was also amazingly well done, kudos to the game devs! And big thanks to Mike for bringing the best horror content as always

The visceral fear in Mike's voice while being chased by that massive fish is something I don't think I've heard before--

this is one of the best-made games i’ve seen in a while. it’s got the dark undertones while maintaining an energetic feel, which is kind of hard to pull off, or just not done often enough

my current theory, without getting any of the secrets in-game mind you, is that whatever world we end off of in chapter 1, is the flip side of Skye's world that we start the game in. specifically, this new world is the "Bunny Graveyard" world where rabbits mysteriously vanish (die), whereas in Skye's world the hands "mysteriously" vanish. this would explain why she is so adamant about not letting Boxers or the Handy Pals go in there, chances are the hand monsters originate from this world and prey on rabbits (or, something else that causes the hand monster that "Skye" kills, perhaps hand #10 mutated whilst in or managed to go through the labyrinth, then return through the portal as a monster).

This game was thrilling and absolutely terrifying. Seeing a story explained would be nice if you want to do that. Choice is all yours to make. But, already terrified for Chapter two

28:17 A Punchout style mini game in a horror game about demonic rabbits and sentient gloves is not something I was expecting today

This game has a really cool accessibility feature for people who maybe deaf or hard of hearing. (at least in certain stages) there are parts where you have to listen for noise, like the section at 1:15:51. If you hover the cursor an area you can click the hand will glow and a ring will grow around the cursor and repeat. The speed the ring grows will tell you the direction the noise is coming from.

I was excited for this game and was waiting ages for it to drop. It turned out so much better than what I thought it would be! Also, I knew Boxers was Skye (Silvie's) son because in the demo, he says, "I guess mom ran out of gloves" or something like that.

I honestly didn’t think this game was very scary considering all the demo showed that was scary was the death of number 8, but the game seriously knew it was doing considering the infected gloves, the 3rd fishing scene, and the reveal of the true antagonist. Best of all, the game never got too carried away with the horror and even added some comedic relief between the horror elements.

I bet ya in chapter 2 we’re going to get to know Skye’s story, and how she lost one of her eye’s but had both when she’s in the garden

Iron Punch also has rings on all fingers EXCEPT the one number 8 had a ring on. It might be a small hint towards the fact that number 8 was one of the hands of Iron punch, or Iron Punch himself.

I love the look and feel of this game! It could honestly be made as an actual “normal” game without horror, but the way it shows horror is so appealing to me. I would absolutely love a secrets video, too

I absolutely love Boxer’s design, he’s so cute. My theory is he looks just like Silve but he wears the box over his head because he doesn’t want to be like her.

What I'd like to know is what Ben expected us to do. We're a HAND. A disembodied HAND. Sure we can punch, but if a SHOTGUN didn't stop her, a punch sure as hell isn't going to! So what did Ben expect us to do?!? We. Are. A. HAND.

My guess is he didn't have any big expectations, he's just angry and hurt and taking it out on the only other person present. He isn't thinking logically. He knows Skye is to blame, but Skye isn't there to yell at.

I would love to see a Secrets video because your commentary and observations are always so fun and interesting! It's amazing how you always manage to sniff out the clues and figure it all out like a detective solving an unsolved crime. I love it

This game deserves so much attention, very well worked!

When mike draw the rabbit, I was like: “It look like a mouse.” When he talk about how peaceful it is, I was like: Do you think… I am an idiot? End notes: The character at the end may be connected to Skye/Sylvie, but she’s actually supposed to be a second main character it seems. Remember the games description? She’s the bunny mentioned. I don’t know what will happen in the end, but I am probably going to think about getting the first chapter and then playing through chapter 2 blind. In the end, thanks for an amazing video Mike. End note update: Ok, maybe that bunny girl is the REAL Skye or something, (just watched the trick or treat video on pichon’s channel).

it just me who realised that in the credits theres like barely any creators. like bro that must be why they've taken forever to make this game. definitly worth the wwait, it was awsome

I love the animation, like the cursor as it fell, looking extremely 3D but yet still 2D. It must have took a bunch of effort just for those details.

I never saw or either forgot about the demo but I'm really *really* vibing with the artstyle. Reminds me of GBA games.

This is probably the longest chapter 1 I've seen for a game like this and I mean that in a good way. We've finally got a chapter 1 in an episodic game that i jam-packed with story and intrigue plus the artstyle and animation is phenomenal. It probably wasn't but it looks like it was drawn in Ms paint, kinda, so looking at it has felt nostalgic

What a great playthrough! I think there may be different endings, based on how you have the choice with telling Ben the truth about his Dad or not. Maybe if you lie, he goes with you into the void too?

Im still questioning about the Ending of this. So i was thinking about what SBH was talking about at 1:40:11, The White Glove (The Player) Possibly went back in time and meet the Original or Young Skye. The reason why im putting a "Or" in there is because im not sure if this is Skye, before the incident, or Skye but she's young. If anyone has any theorys to share, please feel free to Reply.

Pretty interesting game! The only part I wasn't a fan of was Ben assuming we didn't care about Nelson dying when in fact we were genuinely powerless to stop Skye from killing him. It just reminds me of the "third act misunderstanding" trope way too much.

I really hope that Ben becomes a bigger part of the game and story later and realizes that. I hate that Ben made that assumption; Skye's a demon-rabbit-monster thing, the player's just a hand in a white glove. What could we have done? A shotgun did nothing against her, what made him think a single hand would have had better luck?

This game is so good so far. I'm glad the first chapter was as long as it was because we'll have to be patient for another while for chapter 2 to be released.

There's one rule about video games.... Don't ever trust any rabbits that are going to be evil!

I was thinking that she might not be bat, or not completely. That she might be possessed and she's not really the one doing bad things. Possibly at the point that she doesn't know what she does at night... Of course then there's those scenes like with the shotgun, where she acted quite too cold. But it can be because she's indeed just too innocent and oblivious as to notice the implications of having a gun pointed at you, or she's just fearless or brave in those situations as part of her personality, maybe due to something she lived or as an effect of being controlled or possessed.

I can't wait to watch SuperHorrorbro's videos about this. So much happened and it got so crazy, especially towards and at the end.
