Jogo is the villain equivalent of the Warf Effect. He's immensely powerful and isn't a push over, but he constantly has to fight people that are leagues above him.

I think this meme has some actual truth to it. Since Sukuna's domain has no barrier, i suppose it can't really break another domain. So if Jogo used Iron Coffin of the Mountain, Sukuna would either have to protect Yuji's body with cursed energy constantly, becoming at least a little less agressive, or decide Jogo poses *at least* some threat and bring out his big guns to one shot him instantly. Either way Sukuna would win, but he would literally have to shrink back, and that would have made the fight as fun for Sukuna as Gojo's was

Folks think Jogo is weak. He's not. At all. He's ridiculously powerful. He just has the bad luck of facing characters with the thickest plot armor.

Yeah, there are only really six characters stronger than him, and those are Kenjaku, Yuta, Yuki, Takaba, Gojo and Sukuna. Everyone else gets washed by him.

As the strongest curse, Jogoat...yall know how it goes. Seriously though, Jogo is so interesting because hes not just strong, but also posesses a deep humanity despite not being a human. His ultimate goal is quite noble - to create a world where his kind can thrive, he often shows compassion to his comrades and mourns their deaths, and he courageously engages significantly stronger opponents for the sake of his dream, despite knowing well his chances of victory are small to nonexistent

The jogoat has been here since the start of the series, he’ll always be a big name villain for jujutsu kaisen for me. No matter what he’s always bringing the heat

Jogo will always be my favorite character regardless of anyone else, he’s just simply the perfect idea of a selfless curse, yeah he’s an idiot most of the time and does stuff bashfully but his character is one of the most interesting characters as he is strong, however, he wishes to uprise curses as a whole and he isn’t weak at all, during the series he gets clowned on and gets right back up, the idea of knowing your good at something but there might be people who are better always is present in modern day society but jogo showcases you’re still good regardless and very much valid for it.

Jogo was right to be protective of Dagon because he is a precious bean. Literally a baby, even with Mahito technically also counting, Dagon at least has more empathy because he merely eats us which is less personal, and matures due to his loved ones being killed.

It always interested me how the unregistered special grades possessed intelligence on par with humans. I wish we saw them interact with other cursed spirits more. The later half the JJK places much more emphasis on sorcerers and I think that’s sad.

Crazy how this man takes "jogoat" and makes it into a 20 minute masterpiece

Im of the opinion that if Jogo were an attractive looking character, he'd be top 5 characters in JJK from fans perspective. He had a surprising amount of depth for a B-tier villain, accomplished a decent bit despite losing in his main fights and had amazing feats to back up his power 🔥

15:32 using Ojama Country to illustrate "war" caught me off guard, that was great !

They just did my man dirty. I always liked jogo. The way he held his own for a little while against the top two in the verse is amazing, but that in itself, is like him. A curse. Jogo not winning and only holding his own made him strong, but also made him look weak to others. Edit: i feel like Mt. Fuji not erupting in a while somehow ties in with Jogo's potential not erupting through his own setbacks.

Not sure I would call it holding his own if gojo and sukuna were playing around the whole time. It’s like if I sparred mike Tyson and he wasn’t actually trying and I went and told people I held my own against him, when in reality if he tried I would obviously lose in one hit

I feel like it's either their curse techniques are so strong that it doesnt have an actual maximum technique. Or the author knew both gojo and sukuna are already op enough as it is with their ct and domain that having a maximum doesnt change the power scale in anyway. Kind of like (Naruto spoilers if you haven't watched it), Madera not having an additional mangekyo power even tho every mangekyo has a unique ability except his

Imagine of the Disaster curses survived to the current arc. How many of them would just say “nope”.

I mean, mah man was trying his best and it's not his fault he went up again and (understandably) lost to the two strongest people in the series fighting him at once. It was never an equal fight and Jogo really deserved a better chance to show off his powers.

I have always personally seen Jogo's Maximum: Meteor as the ultimate representation of his goal of wanting curses to replace humans. Arguably the most famous meteor in history is the one that killed the dinosaurs and in doing so made way for humans/mammals to become the dominant species just like what Jogo wants to achieve for curses.

My mind: Gege watching Spongebob and accidentally saw Squidward in Krakatoa suit with mountain in his head. Gege: Thats RAD !

They mention Natural curses, and that the disasters are similar to them. I think those three could have shifted into being gods. Beneficial ones I mean.

All the disaster curses besides Mahito aren't really portrayed as evil. They're personified and kill people without thought, but in the end nature itself is uncaring for humanity and you can't expect that from it. Mahito as a curse born of humanity is the only one that can be called truly evil.

I hope you eventually make a Kenjaku video, nobody really makes any analysis of him or Sukuna. I really hope to see that, because Kenjaku’s honestly my favorite villain and character in all of JJK.

I think the ember insects look a lil like the anime version of JoJo's bizarre adventure part 4 Shigechi's stand "Harvest" They both have stripes, a proboscis, a big carapace and the same number of "feet" and hands. I think Shigechi is also delinquent coded.

Slight correction: The word Volcano comes from the Roman god VULCAN, not Vulcanus (I could be wrong but at least in English translations of Latin it’s how it is spelled). I said this once before and stand by it. If Jogo literally had any cunning at ALL. He’d be the most annoying impossible to fight person in the series. Heat hazes, distractions, distortions misrepresenting where and what he was. But he is as many others are-a cautionary tale of Ego. If he weren’t so interested in trying to be equal to a Sukuna to a Gojo-we’d have a cursed equivalent of Toji. Damn shame.

12:10 in Final Fantasy XI Meteor is a high level Black Mage spell that simply reads " Join with your comrades to summon a massive meteor from the heavens and smite your foes." The spell's mechanic is drawn from the game's opening cinematic where if multiple Black Mages cast Meteor at the same time, the spell's power is increased drastically. The tradeoff being that if the enemy(ies) survive Meteor they have a high resistance to it for the next five minutes in-game 22:50 Now that you mention it, things almost went differently for the show when you think about it here. Remember when Fake Geto absorbed Mahito he said "I was originally going to absorb Jogo but that's changed thanks to Sukuna." Imagine if he had something other than Ultimate Uzumaki and had his own take of Ultimate Meteor, that would of been sick!
