    Definitely reminds me of my sewing days. Great idea! I have worn a pixie most of my life (except for my flower child days😅) but short hair is high maintenance so it is growing out and very grey! These will be great for summer.

    I’ve had short hair before and you’re right, it is high maintenance! I’m super lazy when it comes to styling my hair, that’s why I keep it long lol! Are you on instagram? I can’t remember. I follow a bunch of accounts about having grey hair and they are all beautiful! I’m letting mine grow in, I’m not going to start coloring and just see where this goes!!!

    Hi Karen, thanks for watching! Is there a stitch that you are more comfortable using? You can use whatever stich you like to make the panel! If you like single, half double or double crochet, all of them would work great. It's totally customizable. you just chain as many chains as it takes to get about 4 inches. Then do what ever stitch you choose, for as many stitches as it takes to get to 20 inches long. I'll try to get a free pdf made up in the next couple weeks and I'll post a link to it when I get it finished too!

  • @ShannonTalksYarn

    @ShannonTalksYarn

    @@Value1ladyyep! So start with your chain, and on the first row, crochet like normal into the chain. Then when you flip your work to start the 2nd row, do your stitches into the back loop of the previous row’s stitches. Do that same thing thing for every row. That will give you rubbing. I have alternated rows of regular stitches and back loop stitches before and that is similar but the rubbing is spaced out further apart. So that works out better on larger projects! I’m not super great at explaining. I know what I want to say, but sometimes it’s hard to express it! 🤦🏻‍♀️ I hope this helps!!! Very educational, but it would be even better if you changed your direction of stitching so your audience can “see over your shoulder” with a straight on view of your stitching. After all, you’re trying to teach us by showing us, right? Thank you.

    Hi Helen! Thanks for the feedback. My channel is definitely a WIP too! That video is about a year old and since then, I found I just don’t have the set-up or gear to be doing in depth tutorials. That was me dabbling in it, I guess. Hopefully you still found some value in it! Thanks for watching 🙂
