Actually animated Steeds of Slaanesh and Fiends of Slaanesh is what I really want. It is one of the most interesting demon designs, actually alien creatures without focus on how ugly or scary they are. Just a complitely insane things.

The fiends move in a way that I was totally not expecting and I actually love it! It's better than the generic gallop/skitter I imagined. Also, I wonder if people are still gonna worry about tzeentch Warriors being re-couloured vanilla even though every single other god has unique models for them... smh lol I just cant believe people even for a second thought tzeentch Warriors were gonna be blue undivided after seeing how awesome khornate warriors looked

It's fitting that the last 2 chaos factions reveal is the creepiest Total War trailer ever. Probably the most evil vs evil faction trailer match up so far. Even more so than the Skaven vs Dark Elves trailer. Amazing trailer, and interestingly the Advisors distress and emotion helped a lot to add to the vibe.

to see how far Total War has come from Shogun: Total War to this short film for Warhammer III: Total War. It's truly amazing.

The amazing thing about this is that the art design for all the demons is so good and horrifying that as an empire player I am FULLY invested in waging Sigmars war against the demon hordes and I love it 🤣

CA have really outdone themselves on the quality of the unit models. That's nuts for a strategy title where most of the time you'll be viewing the battlefield overhead from quite a distance way

I have to say it’s one of the first strategy games where I actually love to zoom in because of that. Sometimes it’s so sick to look at your army marching or if the fight is going well just go into cinema view and watch your favourite lord/hero/units fight with others. Thanks to all these little details, different models and variety in units I love this game so much! CA outdid themselves this time, again. This must be their best franchise.

@Ben Perkins The other games came with 4 factions + 1 DLC faction. This one comes with 6(7) + 1 DLC faction. I don't see where's the issue of reusing assets when it makes sense to do it if it means getting more factions day 1.

@@wyvern876 At 2:20, there are two things to look at: in the center is a Slaaneshi Marauder with a bunch of Nurglings latched onto him, probably a sync kill. To the right, though, is something completely different. A Voltron of Nurglings holding onto each other and moving around like a mech warrior. This could just be part of the normal animation set for the groups of Nurglings, or it could be something else entirely, but we see these "Nurgling mechs" multiple times in the trailer

Yeah those slaanesh chariots look so sick, keeper of the secrets too

the chariot sounds at 2:07 roof tentacles and wailign in the temple great unclean one dishing out aoe slaughter like there no tomorrow nkari blitzing into melee there are my favorite moments.

My favorite part is when the advisor falls to his knees like the statue next to him at 2:33. It's a small detail but it was so neat.

Ahhh Slaanesh and Nurgle, the two Chaos gods that are really good at spreading diseases.

@@CommanderBohn I think you'ree wrong about them being a downgrade, the new KoS models are absolutely ballin, and way more in line with the sensual androgynous motif, than the old one. Plus Nkari looks like his own beast all together, the positioning of his arms and overall more muscular frame and alien face. Top notch quality from CA and GW, I love fantasy more than AoS sure, but I am NEVER going to pretend that so many of the bloody models and designs were obscenely outdated and even crap.

Looks incredible. Props to the cinematic crew and the art team making these fantastic models!

Really liking the Keeper of Secret's design in this. Seems like they're taking the best parts from the classic Keeper look and the new one used in Age of Sigmar, I'm all for that.

Seriously this trailer was amazing. It shows the temptation of getting power, the brutality, the hate the gods have for eachother. 10/10

3:05 I can’t be the only one who thinks this logo shot is incredible.

There's a nice subtle detail at the end that you can see in the reflection of the advisor's eye. N'kari's inviting hand turns into a vicious grasp right before he closes the book.

This has to be one of the best total war trailers yet plus the human units dont seem like *recolors either

@@laurencef8535 if you pause at 2:17 just before the nurglings swarm, you can see a slaaneshi marauder that looks like a nice mix between bdsm and gladiator. Theres also that one nurgle warrior that gets chucked around a bit + the slaaneshi unit(i think its a human?) With the feather looking thing on their helmet getting eaten by a toad Edit: edited this like 3 times after rewatching now lmao but i think the nurgle unit was a recolored forsaken actually 😅

Once Khorne vs Kislev was done it was really just inevitable. Tzeentch always had a thing for Cathay, and that just left two factions, and then mystery LL no. 9 for the very last reveal.

This was probably one of the best TW in-game cinematics I have ever seen!

He entered with the blessings of Tzeentch, only to find the lust for more answers and the fear of his demise waiting for him. welcome to the great game little mortal.

I like where this is going, we gonna have all the four chaos gods in one package along with some really nice add ups. This is the best deal we had since ever

Keeper of Secrets moving in on the Nurgle recruitment drive is just so their style.

The knowledge the advisor seeks? He is an agent of the changer of ways. What Slaanesh calls knowledge lands in Tzeentch's spam folder.

Well, it was one time where Slaanesh have the silver apples of knowledge which is probably what he meant. However, the silver apples of knowledge was the cause of the conflict between Nurgle and Slaanesh as one of Tzeentch's daemons stole the apples and left them to rot in Nurgle's garden. Slaanesh invaded Nurgle's realm, believing that he was the thief while Nurgle believe that Slaanesh was planning an invasion, that's actual canon. I think this trailer shows Slaanesh invading Nurgle's realm.

@@izoskin275 Hmm.. Thanks. Kinda wonder why show Slaanesh's realm rather than Nurgle's realm since it was the other way around in canon during one of the Chaos Games. I know they normally fight each other but the more famous conflicts between Slaanesh and Nurgle was the fact Tzeentch sow discord between the two by placing Slaanesh silver apples of knowledge in Nurgle's rotting garden.

Is no one talking about the part where a bunch of nurglins jump on and bite on a slanneshie marauder? That was creepy and awesome at the same time! Hope that's a sync kill.

The models are incredible, but can we talk about the animation quality for a second? It's so smooth, it's amazing

@@jordanlt69 it’s an in-engine trailer. It’s easy to tell when you see the units marching, exactly like the game. And it isn’t nearly pretty enough to be animated, the initial trailer is what their cinematic trailers look like.

@@wasifabdullah2997 This is labeled a Cinematic trailer. It's not done with the in-game engine, though they do sometimes use animation and assets from the games. "This is a video that doesn’t use the game engine to produce its visuals. They might use some game assets like models and audio to contribute to the making of them, but for the avoidance of doubt, please assume that nothing you are seeing is from the game itself. These are typically CGI or Live Action trailers and videos, and will be otherwise very apparent."

I do agree it's weird to label it as such seeing as they also clearly state that there's ingame footage. Seems they forgot their own labels, hehe.

Wouldnt it be wild if the tutorial old man actually became a Hero you can control and you go around giving tutorials to factions only to destroy them? What a twist!

That was so scary! I would turn and run rather than make deals with either a Great Unclean One or a Keeper of Secrets.
