I love EVERYTHING about this?! I can't believe how well that very soft, feminine blush plays off against the eye look. Also, watching you do mascara at the end made me realize how much I want to see this look with a white or colored mascara. I mean, it's obviously going to look totally wild and weird, but man, I want to see it anyway.

i love the fact that you didn’t put foundation and fake lashes. not that there’s anything wrong with them. it just calms me down when i see a make up presented like this and i can reach that beauty . it encourages me to take care of my skin and literally treat make up as art:)

Love the no-foundation looks. And those angled lower lashes are so mod and suit you!

The "no foundation look" is becoming the "in" trend these days which is nice. An all out glam look had it's place once upon a time, but now it's great to see people embracing their skin more and going for a more natural look with tinted serums and barely there foundations. I feel like it's normalizing natural and letting people let their skin texture show through a little more without getting embarrassed and feeling the need to cover it up at all times. Perhaps the pandemic kicked that off and influenced that a little bit since people had to wear masks and started feeling more comfortable without putting on a full layer of foundation everyday. I don't know... It's a trend that I like. I always liked a dewey, natural look. And I agree with you... Your skin is beautifully flawless so why cover it up? Let your beautiful self shine!!! 😘 P.s.- The title of this tutorial must be referring to yourself because you are the cool girl! 😎

@@user-fs9ms8rq3c awesome! I hope it helped your skin breathe a little by not covering it up with make up. I stopped wearing make up once the pandemic hit. I used to wear it daily. The one good thing about the pandemic for me, is that I learned to start loving my natural skin more. With the masks, I saw myself without makeup more and it made me appreciate my skin. Even started getting heavy into skin care myself! I like the no foundation look now and either don't wear make up at all or wear a tinted moisturizer. Wish I had a dermatologist, but can't afford one...( I don't think they accept Medicaid.) But that's awesome for you!!

I always feel like when my skin is bad it makes it look even worse shoving a load of foundation over it. I’ve seen people cover really bad acne and do an amazing job, don’t know if it’s just my skin or if in real life it doesn’t look as good. For me less is definitely more though.

@@aljones75 i just started getting more severe acne last year and i usually just use a good amount of concealer, occasionally other stuff but my acne shows through still so it’s not just you! i have confidence and don’t mind it too much tbh, the person in this video has beautiful perfect skin i would never wear concealer or foundation wow

okay, I have a question - does anyone know where I would go to get some help with proper skin prep hydration whatever? Can I go to Ulta and ask someone at the skincare counter (is that a thing?) for help & suggestions? I like makeup & would like to wear it again sometimes, but I have dry & dehydrated skin (due to health issues, I think), despite the fact that I drink a ton of water & eat healthy fats, etc. So makeup looks terrible & patchy and uggo on me. I get I need to hydrate, I just dunno where to begin & KZread videos kinda confuse me since many of them contradict each other, plus I'm never sure which products to use for my particular skin problems, blah blah blah. Anyway...tips on where to start, oh Peoples of the Interwebs??

glad you're experimenting with no foundation. I always think "why are you covering up your skin???" when I watch people do makeup that have amazing skin.

The soft brows complement this look so well. Also Elf makes those erase liner pens. The tip is not as fine as the one you used but it sure does the trick for sharpening those edges and clean up is simple. I bought 2 a few years back and it’s still going strong.

You are the Bob Ross of makeup. I love everything about your videos plus your face is perfection!

this is my dream look. i wish i had the balls to rock something like this but i live in a country where makeup isnt really a thing, only mascara and a bit of concealer and whenever i do proper makeup people stare at me :( love u!

@@mina.mnys.217 argentina. I'm from a small city where everyone knows eachother and trust me, they will make sure you know they're talking shit about you. I moved to buenos aires (capital city) and i feel free here so i may try it. Also 1 dollar=215 pesos. Its impossible to buy any high end makeup product (they barely import any makeup products anyway). It makes me hella sad tbh. But thanks for the positivity!

@@violetaviana1888 At least in Buenos Aires you're not as bothered as in a smaller town for your fashion and makeup choices. I used to live in Manhattan and other large cities where people don't care what others wear. Now I live in a tiny, rural town where I can have my horses and other animals but I miss fashion, so much. People here think they're "dressed up" in a clean sweatshirt and a backpack. When I wear fashion-forward clothes and makeup people stare and talk and some make comments like "Who do you think you are?," etc. Men don't, but women are brutal. They treat you like an outcast or like you're desperate for attention. 😔 So, I just dress in whatever clothes and makeup I want, depending on how I feel on a given day, as long as it's appropriate for the occasion. You should do so, also! Eventually you meet and draw like-minded people to you! Blessings Violeta! 💋💅💄❣️

Love the no foundation look. It’s been my favorite way to wear makeup to for a couple of years. If I want any coverage I use a sheer tinted sunscreen and spot conceal. I’ll occasionally wear nothing but a dark multi chrome eyeshadow and lip balm. Makeup should be fun and without rules. Doing whatever you like is what’s cool.
