A Conversation with Walter Cronkite

In this University of Southern California Program, Walter Cronkite, best known for his years as a television anchor on CBS Evening News, meets with students from the School of Communication at the University of Southern California. With a career in reporting that spanned five decades, viewers hailed Cronkite as 'the most trusted man in America.' He visited the campus to present the 2005 USC Annenberg Walter Cronkite Awards for Excellence in Television Political Journalism.

    The most trusted man in America! Uncle Cronkite, people, the man in this video is 89 years old. look at him how sharp he is, his mind is still there, he can still walk, and he still got his sense of humor. this man is a legend.

    Walter Leland Cronkite Jr., Born November 4, 1916, in St. Joseph, Missouri, became a United Press correspondent in 1939. Cronkite flew on the first bombing raids over Germany in a B-17 and Landed with the 101st Airborne Division at Normandy . The First True Major News Network "Anchor" to reported on location during the Vietnam War. Awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1981. Cronkite was the most trusted News Reporter in America... , and Thats "the way it is".

    I can't believe it's -12 degrees Celsius and it's snowing here... usually we have to warm up to at least-5 before we get any amount of snow.. but it's literally supposed to drop off to -17 overnight..
