You should watch the interview he did with Thierry Henry. I think there are English subtitles. It’s pretty incredible.

Its crazy how well this man can speak his mind and doesnt even hesitate while talking. He also points out very important things that we do too like wanting to be the best in everything or not appreciating the moment enough even when you are losing. I aspire to be as ambitious but realistic as this man, big inspiration!

He is very straight forward and well spoken. He was a genius academically but was a scallywag at school. He likes fooling around. Not really relevant but he studied transverse flute for years at the conservatory. That's not an easy instrument and he did that while keeping studying in a normal school and training to become pro football player.

He's really well spoken. Great to see since kids look up to him.

After the World Cup finale, I've watched several interviews he's done before because I was too interested in knowing how he normally thinks after that incredible performance. Dude is smart and sharp. The way he answers questions, brilliant. He also smiles a lot genuinely. I don't get why he gets so much unnecessary hate. Then again a lot of people are uncomfortable with seeing real confidence and choose to look at it as arrogance.. I hope he has many wins in his life and continues to write history.Interesting how his haters are obsessed with him 😂. That's a good sign of success.

It never ceases to surprise me how fluently Mbappe speaks English having never played for an English club. Curiously, Frances and PSGs top female striker (Marie-Antoinette Katoto) is also fast becoming one of the biggest names in the women's game and like Mbappe, she also speaks fluent English yet has never been attached in any way to an English club. Especially when you consider that none of the other French players of similar circumstances do.

I hear you Andy but media training is not the reason why Mbappe speaks English as well as he does. As I've already stated none of his peers of similar circumstances speak English anywhere near as well. He even speaks Spanish. Yes, you heard correctly, he speaks "FLUENT" Spanish as well. There is an interview he did with Thierry Henry where Thierry asks him this question directly.

It's mostly cos he chooses to....Ander Herrera was fluent even before he went to united ....more foreign players nowadays can speak English fluently...but opt not to especially to media cos of fear of being misinterpreted or misunderstood. If you find them in comfortable surroundings or platforms more young players speak English fluently

Im french and we known he just a football lover, he only live for football, he has never been in intra sports history, he never misses a match, always determined for his team he was the best striker and the best assist player last season with Messi and Neymar in the team. he's been really humble from the start. the media just want to make him an ego player or a selfish player but that's absolutely wrong. in which world are you a selfish player with the most assists pass in a championship? 🥱 It became a mix of Pele and Cristiano Ronaldo what a incredible player we are so lucky to have him in France. Griezmann, Upamecano, Giroud, Rabiot, Kolo Muani, Lloris, Hernandez, konaté… Mbappe carried our team in the final but they all did a great tournament.

For someone who taught himself English it's working really well for Mbappe in this interview. Aidan Galassetti is asking questions that veer away from the usual stuff and Mbappe is only too pleased to open up to him. Really nice interaction with 2 likeable guys with some interesting content.
