The Faculty of Arts recently co-hosted an event with the Council for International Development in which the Right Honourable Helen Clark, Administrator of the United Nations Development Programme and Chair of the United Nations Development Group, spoke about the intersection between humanitarian response and development outcomes in the context of the post-2015 agenda and its implications for the Pacific.
In her talk, she explores the unique role of NGOs in reaching affected communities and the challenges NGOs face in evolving and innovating to remain relevant and maximise their impact in a rapidly changing world.
