TL;DR: this guy was routinely selling stuff that he stole from apple. then he decided to "fix" everything by also selling his buyers to apple while also selling a bunch of his former colleagues at apple. for some reason, apple did not pay him for it, so he has betrayed them again and also in the meantime decided to sell the entire story about how apple screwed him to vice. i'm amazed how this guy can sleep at all.

Fact is more stranger than fiction... People who complicate life to the "T" somehow tend to sleep more peacefully then people who are straightforward.. Somehow the "Apple's double agent" is quite a contradictory orator.

This guy is trying so hard to be Edward Snowden, but has no ground. I’m baffled how he is not realizing the situation he put himself in. What is his story? What is the heroic deed? Our interest in the latest information on apple and these companies, puts a value to it and people who exist who are willing to take risks to benefit from it, introduced a new perspective I had never really considered.

Well, lots of interesting aspects to this story. Kinda stupid of Apple not to just throw the guy some money, they have plenty of money and ultimately you want to encourage whomever is working on the other side to turn on their friends. If the story stays quiet, well you have the information. If the story comes out then you have more people at your door ready to give you more information. Now the word is out: turn on your leaker 'friends' and Apple will leave you holding the bag and may sue you. Isn't this the entire reason the bug bounty program exists? Although hearing from this guy makes me think there is more to the interaction between him and Apple... I don't mean to be rude but he seems like he may have asked for something other than money from Apple, maybe to go live at Apple Park or some other kind of thing.

He gave Lew an exclusive...too bad Lew didn't use it to full potential. I mean, package the guy like the media did for Snowden man! I'm sure that's what he's hoping for too! Not casually chat like your usual guests... Btw, the final lesson is to never trust anyone...he started it, then took it to Apple as if blackmailing them, and then got cut by Apple later on, and now he's switching back. So you can say he's got it coming, but also if Apple is treating people who've helped them to improve their systems like the way they treated him, it'll only discourage future bugs from being reported and risking consumer's safety in the long run so Apple's got to get it together, and Andrey needs to find a new purpose in life but do not lose conscience just because of this experience. Focus what you think is good for you and look out for yourself in the future if you have something valuable then keep it close to your chest until you're assured to be rewarded with whatever you're expecting. In your case, you've felt what you did was wrong so you went to Apple, and in return you actually got paid back by feeling you did the right thing and that's the end. If you were expecting more compensation perhaps it'd be wiser to put it on contract beforehand. It's really a cruel world simply because people behave by thinking like so, which is why we need to be more vigilant.

I’d rather hear an interview from the Tesla employee who thwarted the Russian infiltration. This guy is just petty nonsense. The guy ain’t noble, he was in it for himself, and still is! Now that his plans went sour, he’s a nervous wreck.

Well, his face is pretty too. He's a pretty man, huge shame he went completely public like this. I don't buy his official story. I worked in "competitive intelligence" before.. He was likely blackmailed pretty bad as he got nothing from the exposee.. He'll need to stay extra safe from now on, as Apple's thousands of shareholders worldwide won't like this one bit, and you're bound to find some who won't be as "live and let live" and pacifist as Apple is, especially in places like Russia or Ukraine. While Apple's employees are harmless and quite pleasant people to be around, some of the people around the company, and many of the more powerful players who have interests in Apple continued dominance, definitely aren't "let bygones be bygones" types of this translates to losses :/
