@@SirNehru Hi Sir, I recently attended my first ssb but was conference out. I thought I performed well. One question about my job was asked by the Gto, IO as well as in the conference. That being a mechanical engineer why I took up a job in IT industry through campus placement and whether I sat for any core company. Also questions was asked by IO that why I decided so late to join the forces as now I have very limited attempts. Can I get any advice on these questions?

You see this also covers the ssb part, in many ssb the made for armed forces candidates are left out only because they somehow injured themselves during the process, and this have an impact on their assessment, for a very basic attribute of why they couldn't care for themselves? Likewise my friend it was not your mistake but you were asked to choose an option and they cant just keep conducting ssb right?

Whatever a person has studied, he/she should have decent knowledge about it to get recommended.

Sorry to disagree with you sir, but this schedule is completely unrealistic. A person HAS TO devote time towards the following 4 things everyday in his life: 1. Self improvement 2. Family 3. Society 4. Work life for earning Out of the above 4, your plan is about the first one only, which is only for self improvement. So, such a completely unrealistic schedule, even if followed anyhow, will not allow the person to: Help his family member in any of the household work/ other help Participate in any functions, society activities etc. Prepare for promotion in job or search for better job in other companies which every Pvt. Sector employee does continuosly. Etc. Etc. Etc. I don't think without overall development, SSB would recommend somebody.

@@sumit2489 every IAS, IPS, PCS officer in this country is experienced and expert in his own field. But they have been found to commit grave mistakes, big errors in their judgement of situations and also have acted wrongly in action, which has been proved in many courts of india, many many times. Understand that the experience may be 10,20 or even 50 years, but any body can be wrong. And many times people who have no experience in the officers' field of service (I include civil, police, military, all officers), give them magical advises. I, hereby, don't mean to say that this is any advice or any thing magical; but just my opinion. If Nehru sir thinks it is wrong, he would have given me a short reply.

IMA oath is for the serving personells of the Indian Armed Forces because the individual interests of everyone in the forces is aligned to the national interest. But the retired SSB assessors ( many of them and definitely NOT Col. Nehru Sir) have become businessmen in this field and their goal is not aligned with the national interest now. So there is a big difference between theirs and your goal. So in this case if you will follow IMA oath without selecting the right person, sorry to say friend, you are acting like a fool. Please pardon me if I sound a little rude.

It is never meant for Ssb training or any thing like personality development. Even a soldier is not bound to follow his senior's advice regarding Ssb preparation. @@rishikdobleker137 you should also understand that the amendment has put restrictions only to people coming from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan. In these 3 countries Muslims are majority. Other than islam all other religions are minority religions. We're giving citizenship to minorities. Being a muslim a country, a muslim is never a minority. If there are any issues among muslims then as they're islam countries, they should sort it out. In those three countries non-islam religions are always suppressed and ill treated. From other than those three countries if a Hindu, christian, sikh is illegally staying in India, GOI is not giving them citizenship.
