A Complete Non-Stop Drone Tour of the Entire 15km Road | Ironshore to Bogue: Montego Bay Bypass

#montegbayjamaica #montegobay #montegobaybypass
Making a stop in St. James, Jamaica we make our fourth (4th) trip and third (3rd) update on the highly anticipated, well-talked new development; the Montego Bay Bypass! We first visited this site in October 2023 and made a commitment that we will do regular updates on this project. We next visited in December of the same year. We then made another visit in February 2024 and in keeping to our promise, in a typical Drone's Eye View fashion, we are holding to our word and are back with an update.
This time however, we have completely changed our approach and have done something truly spectacular! Though very challenging to accomplish, we have done a complete non-stop tour of the entire stretch of the Highway project! We started off the journey at Ironshore, Montego Bay and we flew along the projected path all the way to Bogue!
We observe and explore new sections and absent fancy editing, this video is solely aimed at giving a complete and crisp tour of the projected path of the 15km long roadworks of the Bypass.
Ending at Bogue, we then carried out a return flight travelling West to East which shows the Highway from a different perspective. Giving a perfect representation for those travelling from Hanover & Westmoreland parishes or those just trying to exit Montego Bay.
This was a daring task but we got it done and now you are presented with a Drone's Eye View like never before! We hope you can appreciate and recognize the effort and show some support by hitting the LIKE button.
We are very excited about this development and we aim to follow the progress and do regular updates for said development. So ensure that you are subscribed to the channel and turn on notifications, if you don't want to miss when we make said updates.

Hopefully they will be smart enough to build out this urban expression with space on the margins of the dual carriageway for future expansion to six lanes (with thecpotential to add an HOV/bus and carpool lane) in order to accommodate the added traffic that will flood this roadway as the areas alongside this artery urbanizes/densifies....

The Perimeter Road won't necessarily reduce traffic congestion if the areas along the highway urbanizes/densifies.....hence they need to reserve additional space along the margins of the planned four lane infrastructure towards a future six lanes (with the additional two lanes being reserved for possibly tolled HOV lanes).

On exiting Montego Bay (East to West), just at the last stoplight, there are two roads; straight ahead takes you to Hanover parish and also to Westmoreland, specifically Negril. The road on the left leads directly to Long Hill, (which is a narrow roadway on the mountain) en route to areas such as Anchovy, Mt. Carey, Cambridge etc in St. James parish and further on to Westmoreland parish. The said Long Hill Bypass has not yet commenced.

Pointless saying East to West? This doesn't sound like an intelligent comment. You don't need to live in an area to know what that means; you just need to know cardinal points. East to West is synonymous as Right to Left; which is where the presenter was travelling. If a road is being built between St. Thomas and Westmoreland and someone presenting says East to West, is that pointless too?
