A Close Look Into The Rubbish City | Welcome To Lagos | Part 1 | Documentary Central

Ойын-сауық

The first episode uncovers life in the Olusosun rubbish dump. Here, around 1,000 people live on top of the rubbish in houses built from scrap. The film follows the daily lives of two men who have become skilled at turning rubbish into gold. Eric, aka Vocal Slender, is a musician, and every bit of scrap he finds brings him one step closer to his dream of launching his music career, but a serious fight nearly ruins his chances.

I love Joseph for being a great father but I also love that man selling dried blood. He did not follow the rest, buying meat and other parts but he scrutinized the process and found a useful part that nobody seems to want (blood) and made profit out of it. That's wise. 👍👍👍 Salute to all of you

To Slender, man I hope you will walk away from trouble and motivate yourself with God, not the money. To us watching this wonderful video? I hope we could learn and be thankful on what we have. This people have a lot to complain, yet they value little things like most of us meant nothing. Most of us a better off than them, yet we complain a lot. It saddens me to see people living in such conditions. I’m from London U.K. and many people don’t work and still get free money and these people get nothing and have to work so hard, for so little BUT these people have 1 thing that many of us GREEDY people do not and that is self respect and willing to do whatever it takes for family.

I weep to see documentaries like this when Nigeria is known as the giant of Africa with plenty of natural resources like crude oil & LNG. A few people enjoy millions & billions of dollars while others are suffering because of the corruption.
