Simple at first but detailed at the right moments such a great show animation wise and overall

I think the animators and storyboard writers were both dropping acid hard when they made this. I absolutely love how, out of context, you’d be seriously questioning what was going on in this show

I really liked it because of that creepy things, then after some years yearning stuff like that I saw the game Rule of Rose, it really feels just like Flapjack on the chapter called "The Mermaid Princess" and the creepy fish related stuff on the game like, some kids choping the head off a fish and break a doll's torso to assemble a mermaid with the fish's fin and upper body of the doll and call it a day

this and chowder were some of the best cn shows

Adventure Time, Regular Show, Over The Garden Wall, Samurai Jack and Mao Mao are all better then Flapjack and Chowder. Flapjack is still in my list of favourite CN shows however.

Y'all think you had it good. This show came out in my senior year of highschool just when I was really getting into weed. Old enough to get the jokes, high enough to love the surrealism. A melting pot of perfection

Chowder, courage the cowardly dog, and flapjack were all very frightening when I was a kid. I can't imagine what watching them on drugs is like, it must amplify the fever dream feel to an insane degree.
