Every time he said that, it made me think he had messed up, but was trying to play it cool. In reality, if I’m going in to get my hair cut (which I don’t because I cut my own), I want the barber to make it as perfect as he can...and even vocally say “it’s perfect.” That gives me confidence in his work and I won’t find myself questioning if my hair actually looks like crap or not.

“This doesn’t have to be perfect “ dude nothing you did was perfect! Sloppy work produces a sloppy haircut! It’s just that simple.
¨doesn´t have to be perfect because i go back¨ if you did it perfect the first time, you won´t have to go back.. and even when the client will ask you for a high fade you cant just cut his crown of, that´s a no-go.
show this to Mahesh.. make a reaction video
If I seen a barber work like this when I walked in I would walk straight back out the door. No kidding.
Omg.. someone should have stopped this dude! 800$ worth of shears to give a Walmart haircut. Felt so bad for the client

Any barber that repeats "it doesn't have to be perfect", is a barber you should avoid. The fade lines have to be symmetrical otherwise the fade won't be even, he didn't even do real scissor-work on the top, just ran a comb through it like he didn't care. There's a few Barbers on here that are really good (Jake the barber, the barber from Texas)
This barber always seems to be in a hurry like he has to go toilet or something🤣🤣😅. If u can't give proper time to ur client then don't do it. And yes it needs to be perfect all the time.

I wondered why he didn't at least take the bulk out of the beard but keep the length. I for one never put another barber or colorist out or down. However when he started out in the back it was done where he could have been more even. Even when blending in he takes or would take more time to take away areas he overlooked... But from a distance it looks good.

@@trentlong1796 agree 100% about not putting barbers/hair stylists down i just disagree with some of the steps certain barbers take. Although there are so many different ways to cut hair i dont agree with using guards on top if the hair is longer than exanple a #3 guard. I find Beardbrand barbers talk alot of nonsense during the haircut to sound smart talking about how they will cut the hair but take short cuts. And the banter (talk) is not good communication skills with your customers not professional. Just my opinion
@trentlong1796
5 жыл бұрын
MILKWEED I hear you, I looked at there Instagram page some decent Cuts, beards, Stache looks. But yes unless your doing a proper Tutorial the talking kinda takes away from what most people look At and see in the cut. I often mute them to see the begin and end Results. Then go back and see it or watch the technique they use. I mean as barbers we always need to educate ourselves and even Upkeep those skills. There is that British guy on this page he has Great sheer cutting and fast precise skills..
To think, I lived between NYC and New Haven - commuting, for 25 years before moving south and forth the life of me couldn't find a barber that I would trust with my beard. And there you are!
Pro- clean fade and nice beard trim. Con- hair on the t-shirt. Clean it up. Salute and much success!!!!!
"Classic Fade" has left the chat..
Came out awesome!!! They have good music there.
I wonder if there are different techniques or just the one. Does it have to be perfect, or can you go back over it again?

Other songs from that album include, Walking On The Moon, Message In A Bottle, No Time This Time, The Bed's Too Big Without You, and Bring On The Night!!!!!!

This was a great shave!! One thing to point out to those with sensitive skin= the electric razors barbers use sometimes are waaayyy more irritating than the blade!! Use blades men....or double edge razors....part of the "art" of shaving!

Dude as an American myself, I have no idea why! I follow British barbers and Japanese barbers and both have really tactful understandings on shape and height of tapers and fades. American barbers seem to really understand what a taper is what a fade is but have no sense of direction when it comes to overall shape of a haircut
@akbarnaqvi4737

Most shops I've gone to here drop the fade in the back slightly to follow the natural shape of the head. Even if they don't, you can ask for a "drop fade" and they'll do it.
