Thank you for keeping history alive, even up here at 9k in Colorado we are building a animal rescue and small mining/history museum, I have dug CW relics for about 20y but not consistently, and 10y of pioneer and calvary relics in CO. And definitely want to display and have the knowledge to share the history! Wishing you all the best! Nice Burnside find I was thinking the same about the casing for it, it may have been kept by the soldier?

That is absolutely crazy Todd to think that you were out detecting a schoolhouse and through an article and your finds you find a civil war Skirmish site!!! Way to go down in history Todd!!!! I truly truly mean that!! God bless!!

Great video Todd, the historic preamble at the beginning gives the video context. Also when a soldier had damp cartridges they were discarded or melted in the campfire and draw fresh dry cartridges from the keg. Look forward to the next video.

Awesome day. As I say all the time. We just never know what is laying under our feet. You all did a lot of digging. Definitely has a lot of evidence. You guys proved that. Keep digging at that spot as much as you can. Happy to see you got someone to dig with. Thanks for sharing.

Awesome Todd. It's always an amazing an exciting day when you discover an old civil war camp. You just donwant yo leave it. It don't get much better then that. Unless you find buried treasure, like a bag full of gold coins from the civil war. Lol. Right. Great video Todd. An you know, that when you get a chance to go back an detect this permission at a later time/day you will find even more civil war relics. Your on it now. Awesome Todd. Congrats on all of your finds.
