JD is a friend of mine. Couldn’t ask for a better man or teammate. And Lewis didn’t even have the decency to talk to him once they decided to release him. A coach’s level of concern for his players shows up on the field. And that kind of BS is why the Bungles are the Bungles.

Chris Pressely is the real MVP. Grew up with nothing, had a child in high school but still had 3.9 and 4.0 GPA's and he also ended up having a 5 or so year career in the NFL surpassing every other fullback on the depth chart ahead of him. Lived his dream, made some good money and ended up having a decent career outside of football as well.

The large majority of ultra rich people are at their core cheap as fuck and always looking to squeeze money out of every opportunity they can. Mike Brown absolutely falls into that camp. But in the end, isn't he paying the majority of players' salaries? So he's basically charging himself for the right to rent TVs from.... himself. The shitty part is that the ultimate "profit" from this would come from the undrafted players, which is scumbaggery of the highest order.

I have been binge watching "Hard Knocks" over the last few days. This management team from top to bottom seems like there is zero energy, zero confidence, and zero passion.Compared to the others I've watched, (2001 Ravens, 2002 Cowboys, and 2010 Jets) this seems like a small college team rather than an NFL team. They make you pay for TVs? Really? A pro team has to pay for a TV in their rooms? The owner seems like he'd rather be anywhere but here. Hayes, the TE Coach, would put me to sleep if I had to sit through a meeting with him. And the short fat guy with his shorts up to his neck, is a real downer. Wow. He cuts a guy at 5:45am and asks the guy if he's flying back to Phoenix. The guy was asleep 30 seconds ago and you tell him he's cut because of lack of ability, and then you expect him to know if he's going back to Phoenix right now? No wonder they are one of the NFL's worst franchises of all time.

What Katie Blackburn said around 29:19-29:28 is 100% correct & I completely agree with her on that. As long as I've been an NFL fan (to be more specific, a Chicago Bears fan) & for as long as I've been watching the NFL as a whole & reading up on other teams/etc., there's one thing I never understood & it's just that very thing that she points out during these contract negotiations, for example. This scenario is a perfect example of something along the lines of what NFL Hall-Of-Famer Warren Sapp from the Oakland Raiders said at one point in life: "I'm playing a kids game & being paid the king's ransom.". Warren Sapp first said that sometime in early-2003, I believe... I recall reading that quotation from him back when I was in middle school & to this day, that quotation has always stuck with me, but, that's another story for another day.
