He finally landed a hit. It was a joke from earlier Index and Railgun arcs where, despite never actually defeating him, she still would not accept defeat because he never hit her either. Since their "fight" in S ends with her getting the last hit in, it seems she was ahead in their rivalry until he got this punch in... if you think about it.

@@T29hotrod A very nice romantic track is "Then once more", it plays when Touma promises Etzali that he will protect Misaka and world around her, and she is hiding while blushing.

If I were to describe this track in one word, I would use elegance

They're built different, and considering 80% of AC is made of students that most likely dont pay taxes its even crazier 😂but then again the city is rich as fuck and the robots they use are super advanced. Must be funny for the people looking from their window and be like "oh shit did Accelerator just throw off my house!!??😭"

I honestly can’t blame the studio for how the Index adaptations are handled, at least in the sense that characterization is poor. A lot of the characterization in the novels is handed through narration of the characters’ inner thoughts, and there’s not an elegant way of presenting those in a visual media. It’s especially bad in action sequences when you want to keep things moving, since doing something like an inner monologue forces things to slow down, ruining the pacing. Practically every one of Touma’s fights in the anime had the last punch be in slow motion just so he could get his final thoughts in. A big part of why the Railgun and Accelerator adaptations are so well done is the fact that they’re already visual media, so very little is lost in translation.

Touya had that whole monologue where he recounted Touma’s history of misfortune and how it ultimately led to Touma enrolling in Academy City. Yes, breaking points like the stabbing were cut, but a trimmed down but largely effective version of the backstory was still provided.

@@jasperjavillo686 it wasn't highly effective. I don't wanna argue, but it did nothing for anime onlies. Aeon of Horus even had to make a video on it, and he's not the biggest Touma fan.
