What an emotion it has been to see Enya's roots!!!!
Once on holiday late evening I visited Leo’s tavern. Swedish television were filming. Leo invited us in. We had an amazing evening. So welcome. The next day we went back I asked if we could buy lunch. Leo made us toasties. Will never forget his hospitable nature.
A great nostalgic look back into the old Leo's Tavern. I would remember it very well. It would be in the late eighties that I first visited wonderful Gweedore and met nearly all of Leo's family, not forgetting meeting the Duggans too. In fact I used to B&B with the twin boys sister Brid' Duggan in those days.(RIP Brid'). sadly missed. All brilliantly talented family are the Brennan's and the best experience I ever had was meeting the lovely Enya for the first but not the last time in the old tavern. I'll never forget having my photograph taken with Enya as well as chatting to all of her other sisters. They were amazing times & Great holidays..
my dad, grandma and grandpa had some drinks here and met some of the family :)

I've stopped my drinking but, at the proper time I'd have one with them for the hardest times. TY
