Well done Noel. That was hard to hear. Very brave to speak out. So glad to see you looking so well. Wishing you and your family all the best for the future.
The best shot stopper I ever saw was this man, I remember seeing him play when I was a child and he was fucking lethal, hurled with his son Aaron who was also top class as a forward.
Powerful stuff 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Brilliant went through it, listen to ya all day,3year sober,
He,s very honest
Well done Noel you should be proud of yourself great listening to ya your telling my story too I was same after drink thanks again...

Very moving story. Thanks for sharing x glad you are doing well now
Addiction is a terrible thing. It may be a truism but addition is terrible. And an addict does anything and everything to feed that habit. Well done Noel, for admitting your addiction and for beating that addiction.
Excellent words Noel and so true. Its addiction nothing else.
Inspirational Noel weldone
At times we can be shackled, To an addition that won't let go. Like a dam holding back a river, Our lives don't naturally flow. Held by our past, Unable to break the chain. Many times falling, Carrying so much pain. Only when pure in thought, And willing to share God's yoke. Will we be free to live again At last our shackles broke.
Heavy stuff. Brave speaker and really eloquent in his message. Thanks for sharing.

Well said noel God bless you man, but you didn't say if you asked anyone to help
Well done Noel 👍
It's a bit harsh to say that a pioneer could not help an addict. Everyone has some traumas in their lives, many different addictions and reasons to be depressed and so be on their own Sarsfield bridge. If the Irish were serious about alcohol or gambling there'would not be any form of advertising allowed, no slot machines anywhere and no sports sponsorship allowed from these businesses.
Spoken very eloquently on a horrendous addiction
So honest but lot of self pity
Jesus thats sad to sell your all lreland medals which would have been hard won a lot of sacrifice goes in to try and win one he must have been bad great story but sad as well 😔
Is there really a need for the sad music?
The story about selling the leaves is pure Bull.

@DG-nc1jc fair point. Just some of the hustles and scams I have seen in London over the years, means I am inclined to believe it might have happened. I have fallen for some silly ones in my early days in London, though not this one
