I was raised Christapagan but I think Islam is beautiful and it makes much more sense. My son has always been interested in Islam and sometimes I've said to him jokingly, "I think you must have been a Muslim in a past life," but I'm only half joking with him because my son is very much like a Muslim in his actions and behaviors. He's a good man. I am becoming more interested in Islam. My friend in Palestine helps me a lot when I have a question.

In my family the ppl who call themselves Christians will take their baby to their church *if* they attend one, but we don't dedicate babies to a religion. When the children decide to be baptized as a ceremony dedicating them to Jesus Christ it is because they thought about it and approached a church staff member, who then let the pastor and everyone else that'll need to attend through the baptismal process know a baptism is being planned. It is the individual's responsibility to find their faith. The letter J did not exist in any alphabet until lonnng after Jesus was gone back to the Father God, so do you even know his name? I understand it feels nice to think you know everything, but you want to pontificate and I can already tell, you may know the bible word for word, but you've most likely not studied anything outside of it...and I feel sorry for you,smh. It's okay to pontificate if your rant is truthful and of value, but it makes you look bitter, uneducated, and hateful to do it in the low class way that you just did. If I admitted to being raised Christapagan how did I "walk away from Christianity?"lol I pray every day. I pray in Jesus' name, I pray to the one true God. Christians and Muslims have the same God. we are allies. We are supposed to care for each other. Allah and God are the same, our Creator is being called different names because the names are from different languages, but God is Allah, Allah is God. I'm still Christapagan. I was baptized by my choice at age 17....it has made no difference in my life at all. Allah/God doesn't determine your value as a person based on whether some preacher dumped water on your head when you were a baby.lol He judges us on our moral compass and whether we make solid efforts to help those less fortunate, on whether we took to heart the lessons and examples given to us by the prophets Mohammed and Jesus (but that wasn't his real name). Oh! And the bible intentionally confuses. It's intentionally written in code, in ways that relay messages to the common man and to the powerful man...and it leaves so much open to interpretation that anyone can twist it to fit their own narrative. Not the Quran. It's straightforward. Quran is beautiful, like poetry, and even children can read it and understand Islam easily. So, anyway, i walked away from fake, uppity, hateful ppl who call themselves christians, but I've not walked away from my Creator Allah/God, or my moral compass. I'm walking away from ppl who make the world ugly, make their affiliates look bad, and spread lies. You are exactly the type who is causing so, so many to fall away. Do you think God is pleased with you?!lol Smh Anyway, Islam is beautiful. i was a really wild American Christapagan so I think my past may make me...unacceptable to some religions, so I don't know if I can be Muslim. I may look into it today. I have aggressive, terminal, breast cancer (this person will say "because you a Muslim and you goin to HELL!"😂) I may have 3 to 5 years left. It's okay though because I find comfort in the Quran and in the bible as well. 😊 It's nice talking to you all. Did your Christian friend believe that Alexander the Great visited Rome to found the Catholic Church 300 years before Jesus? Because for one, Alexander the Great never visited Rome. Two, he definately did found the Catholic Church in Rome because he never was in Rome to found it. And three, the Catholic Church was not founded before Jesus.

What a frightening thought. He neither knew nor preached what the Bible really says. Ive seen him sickening as it is lying his ass off to people who are so gullible they'll believe anything, just like the dumb arabs of Muhammeds time. There so many holes in the Quran, so many copied and pasted parts of other peoples works its ridiculous that anyone can swallow this crap. It was Waraqa who told Muh what he ASSUMED was Gabriel yet Waraqa wasnt there in the blackness of the cave was he. He also stated ( from islams own sources) this- " this must be Gabriel the one who came to Moses". Huh? Where did he get that from? The only place he would've read or heard the name Gabriel is the biblical texts right? So why is the biblical texts never recorded Moses ever met Gabriel!. There are only 4 encounters. 2 for Daniel and 1 each for Zecharia and of course, Mary. So old blind man Waraqa got that wrong. Yet after Waraqa dies, Muh runs with the idea that he can manipulate and control others with his ' story'. So Islam is based completely on a LIE. Yes, he had an encounter, but it was nothing from God. People still report of being attacked by spirits, scratched, pushed even suffocated as Muh described. These are demons not angels. The Navajo indians conjure up spirits in dark caves in Arizona but they call them the ' skinwalkers'. You need to abandon this cult, and ibsuggest a proper Bible study with a jw who is history educated also, you will find out things from the Bible you never knew existed and most of all WHY. Then you will realise that Islam is Satans work to which supporters of it have no chance of surviving the tribulation when it starts..

I'm not a hater of islam per se, but there are issues with it, and almost every other religion on earth. My Issue with Yusuf is he lied many times in his answer, which made me quite upset. For instance, the Roman Catholic Church started 30 years after Jesus death as you learn in theology. I don't know why he's trying to discredit that fact, although I'm not a fan of Catholicism either.

Really? I was taught Jesus was a Jew & that he started the Catholic Church. I'm a "Catholic" thinking of becoming Muslim.

@@christophekeating21 Yes. The roman catholic church (RCC) have existed since 400 BC. This was a deal between the pope ( Pater Papas ) and the empire of the Roman empire. The RCC Pope should take care of health, poverty , schools and culture - and empire the rest of the government of the roman empire. The first 700 years it was Mithra that was the main person in RCC god structure. This religion was main religion in the Roman Empire until 312. Then the RCC changed its main character from Mithra to Jesus between 312 and 325. 80 % of whats in current RCC is Mithraism. Even the Pope and Bishops hats ( Mithra) exist today. Mithra live story is quite similar to Jesus we find in the bible today. Most changes to the new testaments raw text is done between 312 to 325 is to adapt Mitraism into Christianity ( Eg Mark 58 places …) . In 325 the Emiror and Mitraist Constantine accepted the adjusted Christianity as main religion in the roman empire and the Pope was back in business again. During the years we learn to read - and everybody start reading the bible and understood this Mithra influence and new denominations removed some Mitraisms from Christianity and want to change the way we express our beleave back to the roots…and we got millions of variants of Christianity today.

If you had opened a history book, you would know that Rome was a Republic, not an empire in 400BC. The start of the Empire is officially from 27 BC, when Augustus became emperor. So there was no Emperor for any Pater Papas (whoever that is) to sign any treaty with. 3. The official religion of the Roman empire was not Mithraism, nor was it during the Imperial period, when the most important cult was Emperor worship. Mithra was a Persian deity and Mithraism as a mystery religion was popular starting around the 1 century AD among soldiers in the Roman Army. No mystery religion was an official State religion or looked at very well, they were considered for the weak minded. 4. The term Catholic Church (καθολικὴ ἐκκλησία) doesn't appear anywhere until 110 AD when it was used by St. Ignatius of Antioch in his letter to the Smyrnaeans. It was always used in a Christian context to refer to the "Catholic" (universal) Church (ecclesia or assembly) of Christians. To be Catholic was to hold to the beliefs and practices that all Christians did. It was never used of pagans for their practices. 5. The Roman Empire didn't adopt Christianity as its official religion until Theodosius the Great, who became emperor in 379 AD. 6. Christians understand Mark 12:29 and Matthew 5:17-20 better than do Muslims. We know that these verses to not contradict Christian teaching if understood properly. Christians believe God is One in his transcendent nature as Spirit. God includes many in the One for God is Father and Son in the Holy Spirit. The Law of Moses was fulfilled by Jesus when He died on the cross for our sins. Jesus arose from the dead as the first of God's New creation. The original heaven and earth has passed away for those who are born again as a new creation in Christ. The Law of Moses only serves to condemn sinners who live in the old creation. Unbelieving Jews and Muslims are therefore condemned to Hell as sinners by the Law of Moses for they have not been born again of water baptism and the Holy Spirit, as a new creation in Christ.

lol hmm I don't know where to start because everything you guys say is riddled with ignorance.. First, yes, Israel is mentioned in the quran and Palestine is not.. and? That does not prove anything at all. Also I don't know why this comment even says that Jerusalem is the capital of Palestine, because it's not. Geographically, Palestine's capital is (or was, before it was stolen) Gaza. Jerusalem, to us muslims, is one of the 3 holy capitals of islam with Mecca and Madina. Next, why did you start mentioning priests and imams? Is that the only reason you are christian? because you've heard of a priest 'healing' someone, suddenly christianity is the true religion and everything else is false? Because let me tell you, that's wrong and it can be applied for any religion. if a priest tells you encouraging 'holy' advice, it would give anyone motivation and, in some cases, false hope. Imams don't heal, Allah heals :) Please dont be ignorant, do some research and hear the facts about muslims FROM muslims not from people who hate muslims. I hope you find the truth, good luck !

My friends tried to convert me to Islam when I was an English teacher in Sohag Egypt. I read an English translation of the Koran and i am glad I did but it did not make sense to me like the Bible does. I told my Muslim friends that and they said it is only understandable in Arabic. This confuses me as the Bible is understandable even in translation. Therefore I remain a Christian. I am still open to learning more about Islam and have started to learn Arabic as it is a beautiful, expressive language.

Was Mohammad even a muslim. The person which you claim is last prophet how can his parents be non muslims and he himself becomes the last muslim prophet. Christ was not a muslim, nor were any who came before him. Jesus did not claim i am the last. Humanity is not ending after 600AD. How can anyone be last prophet.

I suspect the idea behind this wholesale adoption of Jewish leaders, kings and prophets was to create an (artificial) connection between the Jews and Christians to Islam. Muslims do not realize that the Old and New Testaments are about Jews and those who have accepted Jesus as Lord and Saviour. No Arabs are included in the deal, unless they have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.

I was raised Catholic I am converting to becoming Muslim, I thought by watching these videos it might help me however speaking only for this video it's false. A priest can get married it's not common but it does happen and a priest can disagree with the pope and not be exiled. These are extreme cases when that actually happens. Studying the Quran has brought me so much peace, but please do not spread hate about any other religion this also is not OK

He's right. Embrace Islam, its the same religion Jesus (pbuh) followed, its the same religion Moses (pbuh) followed and its the same religion every other prophet followed. Only difference is it has not been corrupted by the mind of man. God has promised to preserve the Quran, and it has been preserved in the minds and hearts of billions. Muslims have more respect for Jesus (pbuh) than the Christians do. Its an obligation for us to send peace and blessings upon the prophets every time we speak their names. Such is the commitment of muslims to the religion of god.

The Bible is written before 95 AD. Jesus says: "I and the Father are one". It means, Jesus is God himself. It is clearly said. When they come to the promised land Canaan, they were not supposed to worship the gods and idols of the neighbouring countries. Without understanding the basic background of the Bible, the Muslims quote Bible. If our girls have all these doubts, let them come and ask Catholic scholars. The worshipping of Sun-god was the tradition of Romans. That day is replaced with the Birth of Christ. That is all. The writers of the Gospels who speak about the Birth of Christ were not concerned about the day when Christ was born. They were more concerned about the truth that they had witnessed, that is, the Lord is Risen. Jesus whom they had seen crucified and died and was buried rose again on the third day. This truth was witnessed by the apostles (the disciples of Jesus, 11 of them, because Judas who betrayed Jesus had hanged himself, pained to see that he had betrayed his Lord). After seeing their Lord alive again Thomas, one of the disciples who came to India, proclaimed, MY LORD AND MY GOD! in their midst, they were asked to wait in Jerusalem until they receive power from above. This power is the Holy Spirit (Sanctifying POWER OF GOD). You are made Holy by God who is Spirit. God is SPIRIT now and you are to worship God in SPIRIT and in TRUTH. Jesus says: I am the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE. If you want to reach God believe in JESUS. He shows us GOD. In him, you see GOD. therefore, unlike the Old Testament, where no one had seen God, you can have images of Jesus in your homes, to remind yourself of the Son of GOD, who became MAN and dwelt among us and revealed GOD. My dear Muslim scholars and brothers and sisters, study well the BIBLE before you quote BIBLE. Try to understand the Quran from the cultural background in which it was written. KNOW JESUS and you Know GOD. Don't mislead ignorant people with your funny questions and arguments! May you be led to the Truth of God in Christ Jesus. Amen!

Mohammed Ahmed the verse was abrogated and a new verse was inserted instead saying about male and female. The Tafsir clearly mentions what really Mohammed did in the pagan temple and later he was very sad and repented. Allah was merciful and made light banter of his mistake.

I have read the Bible in Hebrew but it contradicts the Quran. In Genesis 22:2, God asks Abraham to offer his only son Isaac, as a sacrifice www.mechon-mamre.org/p/pt/pt0122.htm. Muslims are therefore misguided in believing Ishmael was the one who was offered as a sacrifice. Indeed, the Torah does not even consider Ishmael as a true son of Abraham but illegitimate in birth. Nor is he a prophet of God but a "wild ass of a man, always fighting with his brethren;" Genesis 16:12.

sameer shaikh Its written by 4 of Uthmans buddies. You have no clue what Muhammed was guilty of. You only have 8th century ideas of Muhammed and they all contradict each other. Quick example. Ishaq, who was one of the earlier ones writes a few lines on Muhammeds dads death. Ends up saying ' Only God knows'. So clearly he didnt know. Then 50 years later Waqidi writes how he died and where etc. So how is that? Which one is the fabricator? This is what happened because none of these Arabs wrote anything down. Its chinese whisperscat its best. All 4 gospel writers agree on Jesus death and all wrote within 100 years of it..Which scenario would you think has more credibility? Ishaq and Waqidi?or Matthew, Mark, Luke and John ( Matthew and John were also witnesses).
