last 3 trips ive only got 3 dink, 2 flats and a blue. still waiting on big bob to strike.

@barryconway1440 yeah, and some nice size ones I should’ve kept them put on the grill, but I knew it was gonna be a long day

Are you using Switchbacks, Krakens, or Rippers for your suspended rods? I’ve been experimenting with hybrid hooks, and I’m losing more cats compared to when I just use the normal circle (Switchbacks).

Switch back circles, but I’m kind of thinking about experimenting and using some j style hooks. Trying to talk him into getting some regular gauge circles without the bent eye

One of the biggest problems with suspended is when they grab it, they will barrel downward. So instead of raising it 3 feet I give it between four and 6 foot so that way they have a longer distance to drive it down and hook up. This has made some improvement.
