When England Was England! Oh, does that strike home. I remember when America was still America, before 'civil rights' nonsense and the hippies and Political Correctness and the liberal traitors destroyed centuries of US history/culture/bloodlines/language and reduced the worker and taxpayer to the status of slave labor to support the forces of our own destruction.

Michelle, by usin the active voice in your verb, you have made the "somethin" to be doin the watchin. Passive voice should it be: "somethin decent to be watched". Then the "somethin" is bein watched -- it is no longer "watchin". Minus 5 points. This is third grade material.

Wearing heavy over coats & hats to rob & climb trees (first scene) funny to see & a sandwich for when their done!
I like any Christine Norden films .She was very underrated.
This was good. An enjoyable movie.
GOOD MOVIE, ALL THE RIGHT ANGLES!😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Someone filled in the Characters and those who played them. I find it especially interesting to see such quality names in the Musical Department, in this case the (?) London Philharmonic Orchestra (even though it is Post-War) in many films and the long underrated("The Unsung hero of the Silver Screen, " sic. MMI.) Frank Spencer, who, incidently composed and conducted the film Score for many films in the early '50's , per exempia, Whispering Smith Hits London, 1951.

EXCELLENT🚔 FABOULOUS 🚔AWESOME 🚔
IMDb gives Ms. Norden's dob as 12-28-24, which would have made her about 26 years old when this 1951-released production was filmed. 26????? She looks at least 50 to me in this film.

That had to be the STUPIDEST husband & wife team in crime film history! Not too bad overall, but what a difference from the quality horror films from the Hammer studio. Jimmy Sangster, in his memoire about the studio, doesn't mention this or the other PC49 film.
Really confront the killers with the evidence on hand, no back-up and don’t tell the police (who let you look at evidence).😏😏

@@Dharmarenee I didn't understand her reason for that. Did she expect such ruthless people to let her arrest them? Also the police seem to see no significance in the knocking unconscious and abducting PC 49's girl friend but mainly concerned with matching the notes. The whole plot seems a bit loopy to me.
Sorta tedious at only 76min, but fun after all.
