I've raced Xing in GT4s, he's very quick in those as well. It's pretty funny when a bloke named Haiyan Xing jumps on the radio and speaks in an Australian accent too 😅

The speed and effortless car control you fast guys have is unbelievable. I’m only 1 month into iRacing and can’t get faster than a 1:53.5 It’s almost as if I’m driving a different car! 😂

All about being smooth. Brake less/earlier but longer. Get the car settled well before the corner and carry that momentum 😁

Good race Dave, really enjoyed it. I was shocked Xing only had 3 incident points. It seemed like much more, but I guess he just knows the limits.

Maybe this is why it was so enjoyable. I actually created my account just a few fays ago and I absolutely love this car and track. Got my first win today and ended up in D now. I think I might be doubling down on this.

Gets me almost every race 🫤

I like to think I'm fairly handy in the MX5 for a beginner, usually around a second off top pace once I've gotten a few races in. I somehow misread the lap times while checking results and wondered how on gods green earth someone ran a 1:48 and change. I feel much better with my 52 flat now haha. Giving myself too much grief trying to keep up with so many series while learning new tracks. Just using this end of the season as a learner season in GT4/F4 with next week being an Algarve special in GT4/SFL. Just barely managing it but still having fun knowing it just takes time to learn new cars. FF1600/Mazda are just comfy to hop in and drive quick at this point

Yes it's tough, but the skilled learned in the mechanical grip cars will serve you well if you decide to race other series. Mechanical grip series are the best for racing though 😁

I'm assuming that wasn't the real ricky collard in your race😂 or could've been u never know🤷‍♂️
